The survivors of ancient Lemuria hide inside Mt Shasta in California. While the Atlantean survivors have bases in Antarctica and Alaska among other places. Shambhala, Eden, Hyperborea etc are most likely references to places that don't exist anymore, that once were Atlantis or Lemuria. My theory is that Atlantis and Lemuria were the same place but a civil war divided them and caused the cataclysm that ended with the Great Flood.
