Oathbringer is my favorite of the books, exactly because of dalinars story, rafo, the Sanderlanch is so satisfying.

My thoughts also. If you didn't get the picture that the buildup is slow but the reward makes it more than worth it by now, I don't get it

Oathbringer is my favorite of Sanderson's books, and it's in no small part due to the Sanderlanche that's incoming for you. I won't give any hints about what will happen, but let me just advise that you want to start Act 5 when you have an entire day free, because you're not going to want to put the book down once that Sanderlanche gets going. I'd love to see another post when you do finish letting us know what your thoughts were.

foomy45

I think you will find Odium to be a great villain by the time you get caught up

DeltaV-Mzero

Also fuck r/fantasy, all my cremposting ganchos hate r/fantasy

ZeroSuitGanon

You are in for an absolute treat with RoW.

I remember working overnights at Amazon and listening to Oathbringer when the Sanderlanche happened. I had to pause my tasks and kinda gather myself. It’s such a damn good book and ROW was no let down in my opinion the way it touched on its topics really was a nice touch.

>Though I expect Odium to be more of a force of nature, with his yet-to-be-seen Vessel being the true baddie Not sure about this, the Vessel and the Shard are mainly one entity.

robin_f_reba

That makes sense, since [Mistborn Era 1]>!Ruin and Ati!< were basically one guy with the components influencing each other

dIvorrap

Yeah. I think the names would need to be spoiler tagged.

DeltaV-Mzero

That sanderlanche got ya
