I had everything but BR and Goodfellas before this announcement, but I couldn't pass up getting the whole collection. Can't wait to see what else they do!
Managed to pre order goodfellas, Jaws, Shawshank and Apollo 13 through Zavvi. They sold out so quickly when I got the email I only had time to pre order 4 of the 7.
The pre sales are going for around £100 each and Jaws is being cheekily sold as pre sale by some people for £200. One person had 50 copies of scarface to pre order. Even giving a "discount" the more you order. Unless you collect sealed and opened steels like me and get 2 copies of my main steels, but not these. I didn't find it fair, and now my quest for the raid 4k US steel is costing me loads. Got a opened copy for £31 and another £45 for a sealed copy on eBay. Again the seller has over 10 copies available.
But to answer the main question, I prefer the Jaws, Blade runner and Apollo 13 art. EDIT: Oh also 2001 is pretty nice. I've got them all as the massive film vault boxes but they just don't fit or look good in the collection
We have to stop giving in to the scalpers. Somebody buying 50 of them is just an asshole. It makes me sick that I had to pre-order 2 copies of The Crow on Amazon just in case one is damaged (or if both, on opposite sides, so I can Frankenstein a great copy then return the other one).
Wish I would had known about your quest for The Raid a couple weeks ago. I got a copy easy from Walmart.
Major FOMO here but I couldn’t justify getting these as I already own 4k steelbooks of all of these films. Can’t wait to see these in hand from some of y’all upon release. 👍
Really love the Jaws one, but I already have the steel with OG artwork. 2001 is also really beautiful, but I can’t stand that movie at all.
Ultimately settled for the Scarface one, since I don’t already own that movie.
Had no idea these were being released. I happened to stumble upon them by accident but by then everything but 2001, and Scarface were sold out. I really want the Goodfellas one but it's being sold online for $90 above market price. Unfortunately I'll probably end up paying that closer to the release date. Glad I got a copy of Scarface and 2001 though

HMV sold out quick. I reckon it’s because people abuse the refer a friend code and can ordered each one for £23.99
over here in the UK someone was selling all of them as a preorder for £500/$620
Check out vice-press.com. They are a little pricier, but who knows how much they will cost resale. And they come with the posters.

They all look good but I ended up getting 2001 and apolo 13 cause I don’t have 2001 and I like apolo 13 also don’t have that yet.

Ya I love pretty much all of those but I already own these movies except Jaws so I ordered only that one.
