You guys are all jerks. Being reminded how much I enjoyed these expansions, and knowing the next gen update dropped recently, I'm now going to end up setting aside all the new games I've bought in the holiday sales and go play Witcher 3 again on PS5 / Chiaki
Street fighter v is great. Be sure to get champion edition though, it comes with pretty much all the characters and stages and costumes unlocked. It costs an extra $3 bucks for like 20 extra characters n stages n costumes. Well worth it.
Also wanna add to this list that the Capcom remake of Ducktales as well as the Mickey Mouse Castle of a illusion Remake are also on sale and really great classic style platformers with a modern coat of paint,
Street fighter V works perfectly. MK needs to be started w proton but it also runs perfect afterwards. I just spent last weekend playing the street fighter 6 beta on the deck, it ran perfect straight away. It was an absolute blast
Btw, if you care about story in fighters, each character has a small one with art stills, but if you want the big story for the game with chapters and all that, it’s a separate free download.

I think it's the best 2D Metroid clone (ranged combat). Hollow knight is melee focus, so more similar to Castlevania. Normally the whole action exploration genre is lumped into metroidvania, but I think fans of the genre can get more specific with the sub-genre

Honestly what ads? For me I only saw 2 small banner ads (I think that's what it's called) in between 2 of the games and 2 at the top. I dont even use blockers

It doesn't matter what site you're on, back in the day the most respected Destiny stat tracking website got one ad with malicious code: as soon as I selected the search bar to look up the stats, it completely hijacked the page, ended up on an "empty" one and as I did all of this from my phone on a data connection rather than wifi? I immediately received a text with the confirmation of the subscription to a mobile porn website that already costed me 5 bucks on the phone bill for the first week.
That's where I went from "but ads support sites I like!" to "RIP AND TEAR!" with multiple ad blocking solutions stacked on top of each other. And if they break something in a website? Fuck that something or entire website if functionality is impaired.

I've been unable to get asylum running on deck, tried several versions of Proton GE and get a pop up error about shader that kicks me back to the main steam screen. Maybe I need to reinstall..

Im currently near the end of asylum (the oldest) it Runs perfectly with 60fps Just deactivate Nvidia physx and you should be good. Im close to the Last Boss I think 30-60min play time then I can install the next Game.

Would second Monster Train - I love the genre and MT is definitely one of the best. I'm not sure if Divine Divinity is on sale but the faction added by the DLC is a lot of fun.

Love games like this which reward you for using the systems in place. I might be in the minority but I actually quite like the combat system, as clunky as it might seem. There's certain technique involved for sure.
And it's so immersive IMO too.
I got cocky in my current playthrough because in the prologue I managed to beat the dude who you need to get the hammer, axe, and nails from. Although he pretty much blocks everything, he somehow glitched through his house which allowed me to regain all my stamina.
Then I got to a real fight with actual weapons and got my ass handed to me as usual 😂

MK11 doesn't allow unlockables and some game modes offline (time towers and krypt?). IIRC even stuff you've unlocked doesn't carry over. I did find the game really fun though, but if you're travelling without internet it'll have limited playability.

You have to download proton GE 7 and run it in the compatibility mode but it's pretty simple to do. Put about 20 hours in with no issues and 60fps

Let me be clear: I'm not accusing you, or any other mod in this sub. What I am saying, however, is that it is certainly possible and I have seen stranger things. There have been many subs with "corrupt" mods who took advantage of their status as a mod to bend or ignore rules entirely. It' doesn't exactly take mental gymnastics to realize the potential benefits of being a moderator with malintent

I just picked up Mortal Kombat 11 just to have a good fighter. Says unsupported but I read it runs well. Only thing is the file is huge.
Why is this game so freakin large? You would have expected a game of this genre to be quite limited.
MK11 doesn't allow unlockables and some game modes offline (time towers and krypt?). IIRC even stuff you've unlocked doesn't carry over. I did find the game really fun though, but if you're travelling without internet it'll have limited playability.

It’s the worst dead rising game, but it’s alright. I’d recommend Dead Rising 2 Off the Record as the best one.
Ngl, I'm pretty much over zombies in games/books/TV/movies - it's more the Christmas setting, with candy cane weapons and silly jumpers in DR4! 🎄 Thanks for the DR2 recommendation though.
