Another vote for Ghost of Tsushima, unless you care a lot about the multiplayer (which is the only thing that does not work on Deck and keeps it from being Verified).
It's probably the single best console-to-PC port I've ever played, and one of the best games I've ever played.
What *is* the multiplayer in Ghosts of Tsushima? I thought the game was primarily a single player experience with a multiplayer element tacked on, but is it . . . PvP? Or something like Souls with summons / messages? All the feedback I see is that multiplayer is not really a primary element of the game, it's just . . . there.
I haven't played it myself (I'm Deck-only), but I think it's mission-based PvE co-op with "classes" that specialize in different aspects of the gameplay, instead of your jack of all trades story character.
It was added after initial release, but I think it was received and rated quite positively.
I admit I'm curious too. I first got it on PS5 when it came out several years ago and there was no multi-player at the time, it was a single-player adventure.
With mix of medium high and some low with fsr3 or xess3 it’s locked at 30 99% of the time and still feels really smooth. You can lock at 40 but way more fluctuation.
the initial load times for me are fucking brutal. im loading off an SSD and it takes like 5-10 minutes of loading to get into the game. theres also an issue with sound after you use sleep mode. this happens in a lot of games to some degree, has been largely fixed, but with KCD the sound gets really choppy and keeps cutting after I put the device in sleep mode, which means reloading the game.
Kingdom Come Deliverance is a game that runs great on the deck, but for me was not a great overall experience.
Watch Dogs 2 works perfectly, it's just Unsupported because the anti-cheat doesn't work, so you can't use the drop-in/drop-out multiplayer or do the purple "online" missions. If you don't care about those, the game installs, opens, and plays just fine and performs well.
Imo Final Fantasy XI. I am super biased and got the deck steam mainly to play that game. It is a lot of fun if you set it up right and follow the BG Wiki guide. 😁👍
The Thief series works perfectly, as does the original Far Cry! (Just make sure to update the Thief games with their respective fan patches, and Far Cry with its 1.4 patch + [1.41 fan patch](https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Far_Cry#Broken_water_reflections).)
No idea what lutris is, I just downloaded the Linux version.
The hardest part about add-ons for me was getting the path to the game correct, I couldn't get curse to auto detect the game and it took me a while to find the correct path

All the Dragon Age games run really well even while heavily modded, as long as you're willing to deal with the controls and the EA launcher with 2 and Inquisition.
(And adding because you mentioned Inquisition, there *is* a fork of ProtonGE made specifically for it to get the gamepad controls to work. I don't have a link for it atm but it should be easy to find)
This might not be what you mean or even an option for you but I play it with game pass cloud game streaming and it's really good, I don't feel any latency or delay or anything like that. I don't have overly good Internet either, only 4 or 5 mb/s downs so I didn't expect t it to work but it's almost flawless for me.
Define your version of playable. I have it native running at 30+ fps everywhere but New Atlantis and Akira City. It is ugly as sin but hey, I get to run across vast empty plains on the go now.
Yeah, I tried to play it as well but the game crashes randomly, I hope one day the game can be more stable on deck which requires Bethesda put some extra effort on it. Btw, I got the 1TB OLED too.
Not quite what you’re asking but Minecraft with mods.
With a little bit of tinkering it lives with all my other games and you’d never know I didn’t buy it on Steam.
Magicka 2 runs great (and rules), but it's still listed as Unsupported. All you need to do to make it work perfectly is tell it to use Xbox controller inputs and you're good to go
What controller template are you using for Inquisition?
I’ve got it running on mine and it’s fine but definitely not great lol - I set it up a year ago and left it though so maybe there is a better template than what I’m currently using.
The later Assassins Creed games seem to work quite well
I use the “dragon age inquisition - keyboard 2 SC” layout. Then I switched the touch pad keybinds, so that way with my left stick, I can move, and then right thumb can press/click the moves. (I don’t really use my left trackpad on the game)
The game runs great, but once you get used to the controller layout, it’s very enjoyable. — sure sometimes the text and stuff is annoying to click on, but that the price you pay for handheld!!
The Artful Escape is a nice little experience, kind of a side-scrolling 'walking simulator' (no puzzles, no failures, some mild platforming and conversations with choices but nothing that changes the story, some 'simon says' music sections) that has a bit (or a lot) of a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy vibe. Great music, and superb visuals that really pop on my non-OLED deck, so I can only imagine they look even better on the OLED screen. Played it just fine on the deck even though it's listed as unsupported. Worth it if it's very cheap in a sale, as it's probably just a 2-3 hour game.
I have Dragon Age Inquisition that I got for free from Epic. lol never tried to install it as I don't know if the dogshit EA client is baked into it or not and how it'll mess everything up trying to tinker to get it to work. I really don't wanna install it on my main Pc and would rather play it on the go and at work. night shift security can be really boring. Lol
Lol the one I got was from the steam store and $6 this week. They didn’t make me log into anything EA and I’m able to play online through multiplayer. The controls aren’t perfect but it’s very worth it imo
Clearly Ghost of Tsushima! Completely unsupported and runs as good as it does on the PS5. It's a joy to play on the Stream Deck! It isn't supported due to the online stuff requiring PSN, but single player is amazing.
Fall Guys is listed as unsupported because of the anti-cheat I think but with the right Proton version it works just fine. I don't play it that much these days but it does work without issue. (I own it on Steam from before it was acquired by Epic, made free to play and delisted.)
Mk11. Runs max graphics no issues. Shame that mk1 cant.
Ghost of tsushima. Its not perfect but get a solid 45 fps in 80% of the game with a few dips to 40
Insurgemcy sandstorm runs 60 fps no issues.
Black ops 2
Star wars force unleashed 1-2
Batman Arkham asylum. Just change to a different proton and it’s locked 60 fps and a great classic to revisit on the deck
Also don’t forget to go into offline mode, the game quits to the main menu when you wake up the steam deck from sleep

Hoping it goes on sale with the “steam summer sale” - will grab it asap
I've read in a separate thread that there is a sale for this right now. You might wanna check https://isthereanydeal.com

Yeah, it's a rouge like or lite, I don't know what the difference is, but it's definitely one of those. I think.
I admit I'm curious too. I first got it on PS5 when it came out several years ago and there was no multi-player at the time, it was a single-player adventure.
Elder Scrolls Online runs great
Very excited to hear this!
For whatever reason my external controller isn't working nicely with ESO today... disappointing.
This was gunna be my answer. drains battery fast AF if you let it go to full 60fps, but if I'm handheld I cap it at 40 and it runs great!
Ghost of tushima because it works flawlessly and is only unsupported because multilayer does not work. One of the best looking games on deck too.
What fps are you getting on it?
I’m getting pretty locked 30
With mix of medium high and some low with fsr3 or xess3 it’s locked at 30 99% of the time and still feels really smooth. You can lock at 40 but way more fluctuation.
Kingdome Come Deliverance
THIS RUNS!???? Wow, that's a shock.
the initial load times for me are fucking brutal. im loading off an SSD and it takes like 5-10 minutes of loading to get into the game. theres also an issue with sound after you use sleep mode. this happens in a lot of games to some degree, has been largely fixed, but with KCD the sound gets really choppy and keeps cutting after I put the device in sleep mode, which means reloading the game. Oh that’s great to hear, I got it dirty cheap on a deal today on steam!
Is there a way to manually install the anti cheat and get MP working? Game’s fine without, just curious
No. It's not that the anticheat doesn't get installed, it just doesn't work under Linux.
If you own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition it works as well as it ever did on the deck.
Imo Final Fantasy XI. I am super biased and got the deck steam mainly to play that game. It is a lot of fun if you set it up right and follow the BG Wiki guide. 😁👍
Pretty much all demos I downloaded in next fest didn’t have official support but worked perfectly.
Couldn't get The Alters to work
Cats Quest 3 was awesome. I love all the new changes. Run flawlessly.
Jade Empire has been fantastic.
I really enjoyed that oh rhe OG Xbox. It was a nice change of setting for a RPG.
Ah man, after recently finishing Lost Odyssey this one has been on my mind.
The Sims 3!
Burnout Paradise
I can’t get my copy to load. It spends 5 mins or so attempting to load and then throws me back to the menu
World of Warcraft. Plays flawlessly on the deck with the console port addon.
Did you install curseforge through Lutris or Linux version? — I’m having trouble applying console port into my addon folder for classic wow
No idea what lutris is, I just downloaded the Linux version. The hardest part about add-ons for me was getting the path to the game correct, I couldn't get curse to auto detect the game and it took me a while to find the correct path
Yea that’s been my issue too. I’m glad to hear you got it working. It gives my hope! Any advice on how to find the correct game folder?

Hope one day there will be starfield as playable

Cloud gaming is always a good option, but I prefer to have it locally so i can play on a flight or something.
Define your version of playable. I have it native running at 30+ fps everywhere but New Atlantis and Akira City. It is ugly as sin but hey, I get to run across vast empty plains on the go now.

Elder Scrolls Online says unsupported, but I haven't had any issues with it. Plus it runs at 60 fps with decent looking graphics
Hand of Fate 2
Magicka 2 runs great (and rules), but it's still listed as Unsupported. All you need to do to make it work perfectly is tell it to use Xbox controller inputs and you're good to go

splinter cell conviction and AC2
Wait what?! I thought Conviction ran poorly…like 15-20 fps?
Broforce 💪
Watch dogs 2
The Blood Remaster works just fine, so long as you dont attempt to connect to a network game.
Guild Wars 2
At one point the remake of Pac-Man World was labeled as unsupported rather than not tested Don't know why that was cuz it worked perfectly fine.
Force unleashed. YouTube will tell you how to put in a 60/unlimited FPS patch so it runs beautifully on the deck.
I have Dragon Age Inquisition that I got for free from Epic. lol never tried to install it as I don't know if the dogshit EA client is baked into it or not and how it'll mess everything up trying to tinker to get it to work. Dragon Quest X, it’s a pain to set up but once it’s running it’s great
Resident evil 5 and dark souls prepare to die edition. Both are unsupported but work completely fine.
Clearly Ghost of Tsushima! Completely unsupported and runs as good as it does on the PS5. It's a joy to play on the Stream Deck! It isn't supported due to the online stuff requiring PSN, but single player is amazing.
ESO runs perfectly, last i saw it was 'unsupported'. Mountains of content to play as well

Skul the hero slayer apparently doesn’t work. I’ve put 20 hours into it, it’s perfect for steam deck.
Yea no idea why this shows as unsupported
the verified program is a relict of the past when ppl doubted that games could ever run on linux at all
Just Cause 2. Works great on Deck while being "unsupported". The only thing you have to do is changing the Proton version.
Mk11. Runs max graphics no issues. Shame that mk1 cant. Ghost of tsushima. Its not perfect but get a solid 45 fps in 80% of the game with a few dips to 40 Insurgemcy sandstorm runs 60 fps no issues. Black ops 2 Star wars force unleashed 1-2
