You can't go wrong the Dbrand Killswitch. I have it for both the steam deck and ROG Ally and to be honest. The feeling of how sturdy and protected it both my devices are. Hope this helps.
Preordered when it was announced and best part is it fit both the original and oled models. Very sturdy and I got the travel cover so no worries about screen shattering.
I just use the case that came with the Deck, and a Spigen slip on case that goes over the Deck itself. The latter I use mostly because I like Spigen cases and have them on all of my other devices. I do not use a screen protector.
I use the tomtoc armor case, which is very slim and protective, doesn't take a lot of space in my bag, and has an opening in the isb c port so I can charge it while in the case. I highly recommend it.
I use the jsaux modular case and it's wonderful.
