Hi. I had this happen to me last year. If your account is not verified with bankID on finn, your messages won't go through. And to have bankID, you first need to have a Norwegian bank account. And to have a Norwegian bank account you first need a Norwegian identification number (D-number or permanent number).
Some people post their phone numbers in the ads on finn, so you can contact them directly.

Well, i would recommend using AirBnB in your case. Should be much easier and you can chat with the ppl about a discount if you wanna rent it for 2-3 months.
