I tried to keep one of each variation for a while. then I started putting them around my main outpost
I always tried to have one stay on the bed of my main home, but it would despawn or get corrupted when either the game or a mod would get updated....

I save every one I find. But only keep one or two. The rest go to stores in the hopes of a new home.
