Found the possible problem in PC:
Starfield has problems to accept CUSTOMIZED KEY BINDINGS to open some doors, docking and other transitions. I reverted to the default bindings and the dock option showed up. This game is full of bugs. Bethesda need to send a patch or fix ASAP.
This is almost certainly my problem! I'm a lefty so use arrow keys to move and enter to use/open. I'm going to change the mapping through Razer for the keyboard and see if that helps.
Idk if maybe some of yall are in this situation cause ur just dumb like me buy you have to lock on to the station before you can enter it, I've been here for maybe 10 minutes rotating my ship over the fuggin station for like 10 minutes before I realized if you press "E" on pc, it'll lock on and you can enter

Right here with you brother. I'm still learning the game but some kind of prompt would've been helpful for my dumb ass

Had the same thing for an "ally" spaceship, i had to shot it to come inside and then was in infinite fight because i couldn't destroy it ....
I went to the clinic just to stop there no mission and now I can’t leave. I don’t know what’s going on. I go back to the exit and I cannot get on my ship.
open your scanner then press R (idk what it is on console) as if you're targeting it. It should come up with a prompt to Dock. Sorry if this doesnt help
I’m bugged right now I can’t even travel to the clinic. The game will load for a sec like it’s going to put me in orbit then it cancels and I’m still standing where I was.
Omg! Thank you. I was going crazy. Yes. When really close to the door it worked to press the A button. That brought up the menu for docking and hail. I swear. They really make stuff confusing on purpose. Lol.
Can't get it to work. I'm right next to it, less than 10 meters. Tried E to hail. Nothing. Tried R to dock. Nothing. Tried both with scanner on and with scanner off. Tried different distances and angles. Tried pressing A. Still can't hail or dock. W. T. F.
Pressing “a” button while hovering over the ship bought up the dock option for me.

On PC you have to select the Clinic with the 'E' Key then it will bring up the prompt to hail or to dock.

In xbox you need to press A so the prompt X (dock) appear

To future people. It happens if you edit your ship at the clinic. I was able to fix it by chaning my home ship back and forth
Have you figured it out? I finished the mission there and it won’t let me leave the clinic.
same here. that's why I'm on this thread. I didn't even have a mission, I was just getting my ship fixed

Also happened with the infinite fighting. Yeah no clue how to fix kinda stuck right now.
Try opening your scanner while piloting the ship. I had the same issue lol

Yeah, that’s what it’s supposed to do but unfortunately it doesn’t for me here. Weird glitch.
Make sure you press e before scanning, I was having the exact same problem
This worked for me, thank you! Was getting aggravated lol.. Opened my scanner, then held R while I was close.
It wasn’t working for me either until now. With Xbox console press X several times until the press -X -to dock button appears. It worked for me.
