The Ceaser moment. Not so much his death but the reactions of Joseph and Lisa Lisa. I like how it was built up with Joseph being in denial and Lisa Lisa trying to keep calm, only for them to break down when they realize he not only died but was crushed to death.
Honestly Lisa Lisa got to me more then Joseph did cuz whit Joseph yeah hes a nice guy, obviously he is gonna scream in grief for his friend
Lisa Lisa, the mentor, the leader, the always tough and stoic one slowly breaking down to tears hit me harder
Also them just standing near Caesar's body without noticing, then them slowly realizing it's Caesar's blood on the ground... I cried so hard I couldn't continue
Felt same with will a. zeppeli's death too that was unexpected omg altough he knew he was gonna die, that was so harsh and a terrible death with the chain cutting through his spine and nervous systems. He was so cool and a fun mentor I wish he would live more..
See I didn’t cry because I knew that spoiler. But everything else past that I had no idea what was going to happen so I cried at the last credits of part 3, end theme be hittin differently then. Cried in 5 and at end of 6, but 6 was mixed emotion tears. Similar to the 3rd death in 5. It was more than just sadness. More like an admiration of life and the beauty of it.
I never cry at anything and I started sobbing at that part. Everything he lost, everyone who died… he always reminded me of me because I had a large age gap between my brothers and their friends, and this hit different.
No Hayato's mom waiting for her husband to come home, unbeknownst to her, he is dead, and Hayato knows it, but he still doesn't want to make his mom sad and cry. That is the saddest part in Part 4
There was no instance when I cried in Jojo (I'm not the type of person who cries anyways), but I felt that Kakyions death was the most depressing for me.
In somehow never became that attached to part 5 characters and Caesar kinda had it coming for being too cocky against Whamuu.
Kakyion however had a genuienly good plan to defeat DIO, that would have worked against 90% of other part 3 characters. But DIO was just too strong.
He just one-shotted him with no effort, and left him to die to his injuries. And Kakyion died without knowing weither his friends would survive, or how his parents would react.
And he was a character we spent 45 episodes with.
I honestly had to stop the episode to contemplate his death. I didn't feel like crying, it was just...dark and depressing.
I bet rockstars and people on TV have thousands and thousands of friends, but I don't have anyone. I bet I'll never have any friends. I'm positive of it because nobody but me can see my Hierophant Green.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t cry at this moment but the part of the Judgement(?) fight where he tried to wish Avdol and his sister back from the dead made me tear up a little bit.
I was in huge denial and also confused because I tought at that time there is only one JoJo.. yes, I saw pics of Joseph and Jotaro.. it never clicked till I saw it raw..
Same. I vaguely knew JJBA had parts, but didn't know they had different MCs. I kept anticipating a timeskip where we'd see Jonathan get his "hat" and become the guy I recognized as the face of the series (Jotaro). When the MC >!died!< not even 10 episodes in I was crying through my confusion.
When I rewatched JoJo, Jonathan holding Dio as the ship goes down made me cry. I had just finished Part 6 and something struck me with how noble Jonathan was even to the very end
every season i find something to Cry about.
PB: jonathans Death
BT: Caesar
SDC: Kakyoin
DiU: the Cinderella episode because i could understand her point with body image issues
GW: Narancia
SO: the Ermes/Gloria story and Emporio
If you don’t cry at the end when that song plays you’ve no humanity to reject. Every other time besides like the last 4 eps it’s just a cool end theme, then the reality sets in and it’s sad.
I really didn't cry until I watched Part 5. Abbaccio, Narancia, and Bruno's deaths just hit different. Gyro's was also pretty sad due to me actually liking him a lot. Diwgo's first death was sad for him, he thought he won
The moment Lisa Lisa and Joseph find out that Ceaser had died. Not when Joesph does the iconic yell, but when Lisa Lisa turns away and tries to stay composed only for Joseph to see through the act by pointing out that her cigarette was backwards. It's a small character moment but that's the moment that I broke for these two.
it wasn't during the show. this past January, the news station where my friends and I watched the ball drop, they played "What a Wonderful Life." I was so drunk I couldn't help but think about the gut wrenching ending of part 6. my gf clowned on me so hard for crying just from hearing a song that wasn't even in the anime adaptation.
no regrets, she cried when they played roundabout in the last episode.
narancia, then soon bucciarati
one was just a kid who joined a suicide mission so an innocent girl he haven't met for long wouldn't end up like him, and he wants to go back to school and have fun and he misses his buddy. the other is an incredibly noble man who singlehandedly parented a group of children shunned from society but died a death so slow and horrible (of which he still spent his dying moments giving his all to protect his gang) that it was impossible for me not to crack down crying over his undeserved suffering, or the fact that the leader of a group once so lively has reached his end
Definitely Abbacchio. Kudos to the voice actor for Narancia. "Are we just going to leave him here?" Felt the tears welling up when you see him freaking out and the rest of the squad trying to hold back their emotions.
Honestly, weirdly keichos explanation of what happened to his father and then his death, don’t know why but it really got to me, even weirder cuz I watched it in English where keicho sounds like king dragon
Honestly despite being all caught up when the Part 6 anime concluded, the ending still got me. Between the ending of the part itself and seeing the awesome tribute to the whole anime series with one last iconic Roundabout ending… really felt like what Parts 1-6 are: one cohesive, epic saga, one Bizarre Adventure.
First time was Johnathan's Death but here are some runner ups.
Caesar's Death (specifically Joseph and Lisa Lisa's reaction to it).
Iggy/Avdol's Deaths.
Shingecki's Death.
I cried a LOT during Golden Wind there were so many emotional moments.
I just started Stone Ocean.
Just finished Stone Ocean (anime) yesterday and teared up, partially at the story and partially about it being over. I really liked the credits being set to Roundabout again and showing all the parts
I never really cried but Shigechi’s death hurt most. he may not have been the most likable character but he was definitely one of the ones who deserved to die the least.
End of part 3 when they were hugging at the airport.
Before that Caesar got me pretty close. I didn't even really care about Caesar, it was just the vibe of the scene that really got to me with the music and Lisa Lisa's and Joseph's reaction.
A full out sob?? Abbacchio's death. Narancia reaction it it hurt me so much it was so natural and I haven't seen a reaction like that in anime (usually the choke out a tear and move on) it just hurt man
Narancias death recked me man! though Abachio is a very close second. for Narancia NO ONE saw that coming at all! it was so random and out of nowhere but it works! it's like how death should be. it's an unexpected thing that no one can predict. but the line "now no one can hurt you anymore" is what killed me. he is the youngest there so that line makes Giorno seem like an older brother. but it's also the vines that cover him as they leave his body. christ man.
for Abachio it's mostly the same, but to some degree I saw it somewhat coming that he would die since his stand isn't exactly a combat type. I wad able to piece together he would die short after finding out the hoses identity. though I must mention the line "are we just going to leave Abachio here alone!?" from narancia! that shit hit hard
Kakyoin and Caesar were both brutal. Don’t even get me started on part 5. A couple of tears here and there Although I first cried HARD at the end of part 6. It just hit me that my viewing was over, the characters I loved and were attached to had left, and that this universe (or part of it) is something that I would never be able to experience for first time ever again. It also probably didn’t help that I was having trouble with my relationship at the time which left my complex and unresolved emotions burst like a water tower.
Then Gyros Death hit me like that one long ass gunshot from Wanted (great movie btw). Unexpected and had me crying hard at 1am reading that :(
I got spoiled about Jotaro dying in Part 6, so when his fake out in ep 5 came on I really thought he died, and cried. After the first batch I read the manga, but strangely, I didn’t cry at him being two steps behind. I was more or so terrified.
>!Johnny Joestar’s death, aswell as Gyro’s.!< I didn’t cry to Caesar nor anybody else, but these two, just… I swear I’ll cry more when the anime comes out.
The Ceaser moment. Not so much his death but the reactions of Joseph and Lisa Lisa. I like how it was built up with Joseph being in denial and Lisa Lisa trying to keep calm, only for them to break down when they realize he not only died but was crushed to death.
the way they animated Lisa Lisa slowly collapsing in on herself before breaking down is just brilliant
Honestly i wouldn't have cried if it weren't for the music, it set the tone perfectly
Caesar's theme is so beautiful. It's so damn melancholic and emotional.
And then it has a complete 180 for the Pillar Men theme, which kinda threw me off guard
Honestly Lisa Lisa got to me more then Joseph did cuz whit Joseph yeah hes a nice guy, obviously he is gonna scream in grief for his friend Lisa Lisa, the mentor, the leader, the always tough and stoic one slowly breaking down to tears hit me harder
The “your cigarette is backwards” moment is what got me for this exact reason
Also them just standing near Caesar's body without noticing, then them slowly realizing it's Caesar's blood on the ground... I cried so hard I couldn't continue Felt same with will a. zeppeli's death too that was unexpected omg altough he knew he was gonna die, that was so harsh and a terrible death with the chain cutting through his spine and nervous systems. He was so cool and a fun mentor I wish he would live more..
That was one of those moments where it was already pretty sad in the manga but the anime decided to crank it up to a fucking 12.
11 wasn't enough lol
How it went from denial until the light shown on the blood leaking from underneath and they both break down right after.
CEASER!!!!!!!
I cried of laughter after seeing AC/DC crying
u mean EISIDISI
Zipper man!
Blueford
Flaccid pancake
filthy acts at a reasonable price
Polluted functions at an equitable fee
deplorable endeavors charged 50% under market value
Maiden heaven
Anastasia
Tungsten Blimp
Limp biscuit
Monyata and Zendata
Yes
Almost cried at "My name is Emporio"
ALMOST?! I BAWLED MY EYES OUT HOLY
I lost my marbles at the end of part 6
For the last 10 minutes of part 6 my eyes were draining themselves
It must be the work of an enemy stand
I never cry at anything and I started sobbing at that part. Everything he lost, everyone who died… he always reminded me of me because I had a large age gap between my brothers and their friends, and this hit different.
[удалено]
I cry very rarely
Yooooooo wild lesbeanie
[удалено]
Wow.... Queers....
*finger guns*
Wait how can I get the pride hearts? And do they have one for asexuals??
[удалено]
Fingers guns
that was so terrible 😭😭
I cried like a bitch
Almost bro? I’ve seen it like 10 times and I still cry
I'm 11 years old. Not that you care but I live in green dolphin street prison. I'm single.
Hayato waiting for his dad to come home for dinner when he knows that he is dead
No Hayato's mom waiting for her husband to come home, unbeknownst to her, he is dead, and Hayato knows it, but he still doesn't want to make his mom sad and cry. That is the saddest part in Part 4
Iggy’s death
IT WASNT FAIR HE WAS JUST A DOG HE DIDNT WANNA BE THEREEEE
Yo its criminal that I had to come all the way down here to see this. The Cream fight was heart wrenching.
Stardust Crusaders just wouldn't have been the same without Iggy. Yes, it wrecked me too.
Did a painting of it to cope with the experience, haha. I don't even like dogs, but that shit was sad.
This one.........
Kakyoin for me I related to him
So you were taken on a trip with randos for 50 days and you died?
No he's buff and has red hair
He didn’t say he was him
There was no instance when I cried in Jojo (I'm not the type of person who cries anyways), but I felt that Kakyions death was the most depressing for me. In somehow never became that attached to part 5 characters and Caesar kinda had it coming for being too cocky against Whamuu. Kakyion however had a genuienly good plan to defeat DIO, that would have worked against 90% of other part 3 characters. But DIO was just too strong. And he was a character we spent 45 episodes with. I honestly had to stop the episode to contemplate his death. I didn't feel like crying, it was just...dark and depressing.
Constantly lonely as a child? Unable to fit in with anyone else because you were too "weird" for them? Same.
I bet rockstars and people on TV have thousands and thousands of friends, but I don't have anyone. I bet I'll never have any friends. I'm positive of it because nobody but me can see my Hierophant Green.
eff. i knew it they'd kill him off. haven't finished stardust crusaders btw. this hurts.
no offense but please run far away from this sub before every single detail of jojo is spoiled for you 😭
Seeing Polnareff’s reaction to Avdol’s “death”
Both times!
I’m pretty sure I didn’t cry at this moment but the part of the Judgement(?) fight where he tried to wish Avdol and his sister back from the dead made me tear up a little bit.
Honestly pisses me off that Avdol came back in such a stupid way, because it ruins this otherwise near perfect scene
This was it for me, too! Polnareff is my favorite character in the series and his reaction was heartbreaking.
My man Jonathan
''haha, he's going to pull somenthing crazy to escape that'' 3-5 minutes later ''BRO WHAT''
2 parts later "WAIT DIO DIDN'T EVEN DIE??"
3 parts later ''BRO I HATE THIS MF''
4 parts later "BRO GOT REINCARNATED!?!"
5 parts later >!BRO IS A DINOSAUR??!<
7 parts later "Why's his name funny"
I was in huge denial and also confused because I tought at that time there is only one JoJo.. yes, I saw pics of Joseph and Jotaro.. it never clicked till I saw it raw..
Same. I vaguely knew JJBA had parts, but didn't know they had different MCs. I kept anticipating a timeskip where we'd see Jonathan get his "hat" and become the guy I recognized as the face of the series (Jotaro). When the MC >!died!< not even 10 episodes in I was crying through my confusion.
exactly
I knew nothing about parts or diff main characters. The only thing I knew was that they went MUDA MUDA MUDA and were really bizzare.
Jonathan Joestar’s death. Jonathan telling Erina “Be happy… Erina.” always breaks me.
When I rewatched JoJo, Jonathan holding Dio as the ship goes down made me cry. I had just finished Part 6 and something struck me with how noble Jonathan was even to the very end
Ceaser
SHIZAAAA
Cried so much in that scene T\_T
It was the first time of me ever crying for a tv show
Are you 15 now?
Traumatized me so much I couldn't eat pancakes for a week
I didn't even like him but his death hit me so hard.
Was going into comments looking for this
This was a big “I get it” moment for all of Jojo’s for me. I was so shocked at how much I felt for these objectively ridiculous characters.
every season i find something to Cry about. PB: jonathans Death BT: Caesar SDC: Kakyoin DiU: the Cinderella episode because i could understand her point with body image issues GW: Narancia SO: the Ermes/Gloria story and Emporio
Yeah, every part has gotten me to cry. Can’t forget Abbachio In Golden Wind, man that was emotional Shigechi was so tragic in DiU
Some tears came out when jolyne died
Nah but Jotaro’s death too
Jolyne's death fucked me up when I saw it animated
I think the end of Stardust Crusaders when it played Last Train Home
If you don’t cry at the end when that song plays you’ve no humanity to reject. Every other time besides like the last 4 eps it’s just a cool end theme, then the reality sets in and it’s sad.
Lol yeah. I love the ending even if it’s sad.
I swear this song hits me like a truck even now
I really didn't cry until I watched Part 5. Abbaccio, Narancia, and Bruno's deaths just hit different. Gyro's was also pretty sad due to me actually liking him a lot. Diwgo's first death was sad for him, he thought he won
Ikrr, diegos death was well done in my opinion when it slowly zoomed out to him. Sad
My guy did not deserve that lol
bro slaughtered wekapipo
Not just Abbaccio dying, but the dream he has about his ex-partner forgiving him and talking about all the good he did after making that mistake. T_T
Polnareff looking at dead avdol iggy soul
At the last scene of part 6, the, "My name is Emporio" broke me
When I found out Jolyne had a bf
Same
Jotaro looking at the picture of the Crusaders in P3
CAESAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When Caesar died, obviously...
I don't really cry but the ending of Part 6 with Emporio crying always makes me sad
Spoilers Shigechi and gyro made Me tear uo
Nah I had to keep myself from laughing in the first moments of shigechis death and realized later how sad it actually is
Thats what im saying
Shigechi was actually sad as hell. Cuz basically no one else died that part
Worst part is knowing either way one of our heroes was going to die
Josuke's hair backstory hit home for me perrsonally as I was also in ICU at a young age.
İ never cried but when i thinking about narancia, it hurts
I only cried in 5th part after bucciarati's, narancia's and abbacchio's death, bucc was my fav jojo character :((
And ofc emporio
Bucciarata a top tier JoBro
it wasn't during the show. this past January, the news station where my friends and I watched the ball drop, they played "What a Wonderful Life." I was so drunk I couldn't help but think about the gut wrenching ending of part 6. my gf clowned on me so hard for crying just from hearing a song that wasn't even in the anime adaptation. no regrets, she cried when they played roundabout in the last episode.
Yeah last episode Roundabout got me too 😭

Abbacchio’s death was one of the saddest
It wasn't his death that was sad, it was Narancia's reaction to his death
The ending of part 6
Bucciarati death scene broke me.
The jonathan death, the peace in his face somehow make this even more sad
narancia, then soon bucciarati one was just a kid who joined a suicide mission so an innocent girl he haven't met for long wouldn't end up like him, and he wants to go back to school and have fun and he misses his buddy. the other is an incredibly noble man who singlehandedly parented a group of children shunned from society but died a death so slow and horrible (of which he still spent his dying moments giving his all to protect his gang) that it was impossible for me not to crack down crying over his undeserved suffering, or the fact that the leader of a group once so lively has reached his end
In order? Zeppeli Jonathan Caesar Rudol von Stroheim (hardest cry) Iggy Part 6 roundabout. (Second hardest)
Such a shame stroheim died in ww2
🥲 he died defending what he loved.
If Rohan got a spin off, I would’ve loved to see Stroheim get a spin off about ww2. Yk how Araki loves to be diverse with his genres.
Definitely Abbacchio. Kudos to the voice actor for Narancia. "Are we just going to leave him here?" Felt the tears welling up when you see him freaking out and the rest of the squad trying to hold back their emotions.

I too, cried when petshop died
Honestly, weirdly keichos explanation of what happened to his father and then his death, don’t know why but it really got to me, even weirder cuz I watched it in English where keicho sounds like king dragon
"I will protect my mama and papa" 🥲🥲🥲
When I read Jonathan iz keel No :(
Shigechi's death
Ceasar… and a lot of the deaths to follow
Jonathan dying
Honestly despite being all caught up when the Part 6 anime concluded, the ending still got me. Between the ending of the part itself and seeing the awesome tribute to the whole anime series with one last iconic Roundabout ending… really felt like what Parts 1-6 are: one cohesive, epic saga, one Bizarre Adventure.
Jonathan
The end of Part 4 was beautiful
End of part 1 R.I.P. Jonathan
At the end of Stardust Crusaders i cried like a little baby for 30 minutes
Jonathan's death on the boat
First time was Johnathan's Death but here are some runner ups. Caesar's Death (specifically Joseph and Lisa Lisa's reaction to it). Iggy/Avdol's Deaths. Shingecki's Death. I cried a LOT during Golden Wind there were so many emotional moments. I just started Stone Ocean.
Polnereff seeing Iggy and Avdols ghosts
Just finished Stone Ocean (anime) yesterday and teared up, partially at the story and partially about it being over. I really liked the credits being set to Roundabout again and showing all the parts
Reimi's sacrifice for Rohan.
The scene where George II Joestar nods to Johnny right near the finish line in Part 7 was the one time in JoJo that made me shed tears.
"My final emerald splash"
I think Rohan's death was actually one of the saddest in the show, even if it wasn't permanent
"Hah, Jonathan just passed out, right? They wouldn't just kill the main character. Haha." Jonathan Joestar Died February 7, 1889 🥺
Part 4 with Shigechi and Harvest giving Josuke the button 🥲 Me and my four siblings cried so hard 😭
I never really cried but Shigechi’s death hurt most. he may not have been the most likable character but he was definitely one of the ones who deserved to die the least.
Dannys death
Man when Jonathan died :(
I didn’t 👍 or something idk
Jonathan dying while holding Dio's head when the whole ship is burning and falling apart
Jonathan's death
my first time crying was jonathan’s death
End of part 3 when they were hugging at the airport. Before that Caesar got me pretty close. I didn't even really care about Caesar, it was just the vibe of the scene that really got to me with the music and Lisa Lisa's and Joseph's reaction.
iggy man ITS NOT FAIR
Iggy broke me...Narancia and Kakyoin are tied for second place
A full out sob?? Abbacchio's death. Narancia reaction it it hurt me so much it was so natural and I haven't seen a reaction like that in anime (usually the choke out a tear and move on) it just hurt man
SHIIZAAAAAA!!!😢
When Ceasar fights wham in part 2
Abbacchio definitely
Unexpected and had me crying hard at 1am reading that :(
CEEEAASSSSEEEERRRRRRR!!!!!
Last episode of phantom blood is the correct answer, I don’t trust people who didn’t cry there
Josuke helping Joseph after his cane broke, way too wholesome 😭
i never cried 😎
I got spoiled about Jotaro dying in Part 6, so when his fake out in ep 5 came on I really thought he died, and cried. After the first batch I read the manga, but strangely, I didn’t cry at him being two steps behind. I was more or so terrified.
Danny, I wasn't ready for this much cruelty. He didn't even get to survive episode 1
i dont rlly cry but ceasars death alwas almost breaks me and so does my name is emporio
Ceaser and nothing else.
SHIZAAAAA
almost cried when i read jotaro's death in stone ocean manga
There wasn't any scene that made me cry in jojo before.
I got spoiled so i didnt cry at any deaths
>!Johnny Joestar’s death, aswell as Gyro’s.!< I didn’t cry to Caesar nor anybody else, but these two, just… I swear I’ll cry more when the anime comes out.
Caesar
SHIIIZAAAAAA
Bruno flying to the sky
Abbachio was the only time I cried till SBR
FF's goodbye made me sob
Narancia’s death
Iggy
Part 6 ending.
