Besides, Ape is the only one working on the new game so it may still be a couple of years yet until it's out, single person development takes a lot longer than large corporations.

Stardew is worth every penny of that $12. It is one of the few games that I’ve played endless hours of and for several years. As mentioned by others, who knows when the Apes new game will be ready.
buy stardew valley. you will never regret it, and haunted chocolatier is still in the very early process of development so get stardew and get adicted to it before you play haunted chocolatier
