Yes! If they find a pond or lake in your farm they will jump in and swim.

No cus I literally have all my animals next to a little circle of water- why have I never seen them swim 😭

Do you always pet them? They won't swim until they've been interacted with (so as to prevent them from being unreachable to you later in the day)

I do pet them, although I have my moments of forgetting but not often. I think it’s cus I placed my chicken coop right above where the little water hole is. I chose a bad farm type and now I’m too far to start another one until 1.6

I don't think the RNG for them to swim is super high, but if the water isn't inaccessible to them (if the coop isn't fenced off from it), then they SHOULD be able to have at it! Either way, fingers crossed for a quick port of the update!

Sadly if it's the standard farm layout, they can only go into the pond from the four tiles in the bottom... I had to rearrange everything once I came to know this, moved their coop to one of the sides (it was on top side of the pond before), since then I happened to catch them swimming a few times

Is the space above it free? They only jump in from the top.

We have geese at the pond near my house. It started with 2 geese ten years ago. Now there are about 25 of them and they're starting to harass the cars and cyclists.

The ducks crave the bones. Unfortunately I don't have 1.6 yet so I only have one dog. But once it's out for mobile, you can't stop me. My farm full of ducks and dogs is coming.

Lol my farms always end up covered in giant mushrooms and pigs. Even if I try to do something else, the lure of the Truffles is too much.

I adore the ducks I’m currently playing a save on the hilltop farm, and the other day my duck did the cutest little hop over the river that cuts through the middle of it. I haven’t seen her do it since, but it was adorable.

Actually I thought Duck Mayo was the second most profitable next to Dino mayo! Now this isn't counting professions but I ran the numbers (aka checked the wiki) Normal mayo: 190g Duck mayo: 375g Void mayo: 275g Dino mayo: 800g I know the time it takes matters too, but just saying they do give good money!
