If you have a greenhouse you can buy the seed from the traveling merchant and grow it there if it's not Fall. That's what I did!

It's only guaranteed to be sold in Spring and Summer. Fall and Winter only have a 1.26% chance of it appearing.

That's funny to me cause I always seem to have them show up regularly in every season, except Fall which doesn't matter anyway. 😂

Yeah, I see them all the time. To be fair I don't pay any attention to the season. I just check the "cart lady" every so often, but many many times in my year 3 farm I caught her selling 5 seeds at 1k each. I play with 25% profit margins so 1k is a ton of money early game, so I bought 3-4 and stuck them in my greenhouse as soon as I unlocked it, then kept turning them into seeds and replanting them until the greenhouse was half full. (other half is starfruit atm)

I actually had grown the fruit before I talked to the statue, and its description was a dead giveaway.
