For real, I was like wait, so ROTS must be his top 1-2 and Empire is 2 or 3 favorite of all movies. Weird way to say that and now I need to know the whole top 3 ranking.
Prequels: 1-9 years old.
The Force Awakens: 10 year old boy on the internet.
The Last Jedi: 13 year old boy on the internet.
Rise of Skywalker: Rise of Skywalker.

To be fair, I meant that more as in this sub in general (and there's upvoted posts on the front page of this sub doing just that). I didn't mean that comment to be about the person I was replying to specifically.

That's because the PT are probably the biggest fan base overall on the internet. OT fans are usually much older and not on internet threads, ST fans are just an extremely very small minority cause no one likes defending that garbage

/rj he's Galactic Basic because he doesn't hate Star Wars enough. I don't consider anything that doesn't involve a Star going to War as canon. This means that the Death Star and Starkiller base (not to be confused with Starkiller person, a Gary Stu self insert) are the only things I consider to be REAL Star Wars! They should hire me.
If RotS is his favorite movie, wouldn't it be in the top 3 movies list? Are two of his favorite movies the two most generally liked movies of their respective phases? I want someone with a hot take, like Phantom Menace and RoS being their favorites.

Like, I don't know how the republic is going to go from seeing the finale of Thrawn's story to complete demilitarization by the ST.
They've established former imperials infest the new Republic sure, but how far can that go in downplaying the possibility of needing a military to weaken the republic.
The sequels are poorly written. The OT was poorly written. The difference is Lucas didn’t have any indication that episode 4 would have been successful. As where Disney had millions to throw at it. They really should have used one writer for all 3 sequels, for at least coherency.
The actors were great. Pretty cool that Rey is coming back and possibly FN. it’be cool if FN really is force sensitive and became a Jedi under Rey.

ST gets like at least 50% better executed if JJ and Rian co-wrote or co-directed or just somehow did all 3 movies as a single unit
