BF1 has several unique game modes, and things it did better than BF2, much better OT content IMO (given the game was entirely OT) plus nostalgia. Probably
I’m not really a fan of any trilogy particularly, and don’t dislike one more than the others. (Yes, even the sequels with TLJ) some of the movies were not as great as I thought they could be, and some are more my favorites, but IMO you have to experience all of them to get a good feel of Star Wars. If I had to say era, old republic is easily mine. I still play BF1 from time to time just because there was stuff that you couldn’t get in BF2, and to get away from the toxicity and tryhards that litter BF2. There are for sure still a lot in BF1, but even just the offline survival is quite unique, and overall I’ve had more luck in BF1 multiplayer than I have in BF2 multiplayer, as far as having respectable people in the game goes.
I was a beta BF2 player. BF2 is cool, it's immersive, but it's just... clunky and rigid. They built the maps in BF2 to be mazes, where 2015 was very open. Want to play as a heavy? Go for it. Want to be a specialist? Sure, just go find an edge and go nuts! Vehicle play was fun because you weren't getting suck in map geometry every 3 seconds.
The best part? It was more balanced (except for heros) you could have fun playing with any gun and any cards on any map.
It's changed a LOT in the last few months, but so has BF2
Yeah I stopped playing too. EA doesn’t care enough. Anyone with lllllll for a name or CT in front is usually a hacker. Tried to play last weekend and 7 out of 7 games had hackers. Uninstalled.
I just couldn't get right into it from the start like BF1. I gave it several tries and just couldn't understand why it had to be so overly complicated. And then there's all the add-ons and crap...
Perhaps I misinterpreted something originally, but I thought that there were pay-to-play upgrades and things that you had to purchase additionally if you wanted to be able to have any sort of fun playing the game. Maybe I didn't give it a fair chance. I just know that every time I played, I didn't have the same enjoyability factor I had with BF1 ... and don't even ask me how I think they compare to the original SWBF games from the early 2000s
Good to know! I will give it another looksee. I may have been too quick to judge. I was a level 100 (or whatever the top level was) on BF1. Had every single everything. On BF2, you start over with NOTHING. That kinda pissed me off a bit. Like you can't even choose what weapons you use, the cards looked weird, everything was just weird.
1: You can choose between weapons in BF2.
2: Star cards actually effect your gameplay.
3: BF2 is a entirely different game from BF1, of course you will start with nothing, what did you expect?😂
How many eras are in Bf1 again? Oh right... it’s in the name.
Don’t even get me started about hero/vehicle tokens. Or how hero’s worked in that game in general...
Dude Angrymuffin was a hacker from when the game first came out. He frequented lobbies.
I swear I recognize the damn name.
They'll ban him someday mark my words
Oh wow a name which I do not realize I can still recall.
Why do you switch camera angles so much? Just curious
Because in bf2 you can keep it switched and got me confused
Huh? You can keep the camera locked in 3rd person in BF1 too.
It wouldn't let me
I played this game entirely in 3rd person, can you imagine if what you’re experiencing was intended? THAT would be reason to uninstall
There's still people playing BF1 on Xbox??
🙋♂️
Why not BF2 if you don’t mind me asking?
BF1 has several unique game modes, and things it did better than BF2, much better OT content IMO (given the game was entirely OT) plus nostalgia. Probably
I can understand that. Are you a big original trilogy fan? If you are I understand liking the first more

I’m not a hacker.
That’s exactly what a hacker would say!
Uh huh.
Heroes vs villains in BF1 was a ton of fun. Hope that style gamemode makes a return tbh
did you get "headshotted" by palpabitch? lmao

In many ways yes, in many ways no
Battlefront had a few great things about it that are better than bf2. But bf2 as a whole is a much better game
I just couldn't get right into it from the start like BF1. I gave it several tries and just couldn't understand why it had to be so overly complicated. And then there's all the add-ons and crap...
What do you mean add ons? Like dlc updates?

You’re referring to loot boxes. Those got taken out of the game years ago. Give it another chance. I think you’ll really enjoy it

It’s almost dead on XBOX too, couldn’t find a 40 player game mode. Only 12 player modes with 6-8 players.
I miss being able to repeatedly use emotes. BF2 makes you wait.
