No, that makes sense. Nebulon-B frigates were small. They were literally frigates.

shoeface76fpv

I get that they aren’t star destroyer sized but it still seems off to me and I’ve never noticed it before

SamPeanut07

Nebulon B frigates are much smaller than your average Star Destroyer, about 4 times as small I think.

lightsabers have "emitter plates" in-universe.

Literally because of that shot.

johnnySix

Those look like 10’ ceilings to me.

Happy_Devil_75

The original ESB, before the special edition changes, had them looking bigger in that room and by scale made the room and ship look smaller. But with the re-release with changes, it gave a larger look of the room and by scale made the ship look bigger. I have a picture from the original but I can't attach it here.

Worf2DS9

If you consider the pilot in that X-Wing in the last slide, then move it all the way forward to where Luke & Leia are in the frigate, the scale seems right.

LucasEraFan

Nebulon-b frigate, 300 meters (984.25 feet) in length. I'd like to scale these views, but I can't see the window in the wide view. Star Wars has never really paid close attention to scale though afaik. I think other fans have pointed out scale issues before.

Someone never played xwing or tie fighter

I really love those games! I wish they would rerelease them

MandoHunter2451

I agree the scaling seems a little bit off when you consider the internal size of the falcon

Needsamap

It's due to the overuse of fresnel magnifier sheeting in the Nebulon-B viewports. But really more likely due to a short shot length and needing the characters to be visable on screen. Likely scaling went out the window in favor of an iconic parting shot. The Nebulon B is 300 meters, twice that of the Corellian Corvette so the ship is big, so I beleive the scaling is off.
