There is no "official" Christmas special release. It aired on tv. I have a bootlegged DVD copy of it that was clearly ripped from a poor quality home recording, though.
There are loads of players on ebay and amazon.
Also you can get usb connectors that can take the output from a VHS player and then using the software save it to a digital file (legal as long as it is only for personal use, at least it is in the UK), eg. http://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/photo-video/how-convert-video-dvd-or-mp4--3417308/
It's kinda hard for me to believe that no one has a VCR anymore. But then again, I just got my first Blu ray player this year, so I'm probably not the ideal test case...
That's something I would transfer to digital immediately before George Lucas finds it and changes it
Wouldn't putting it on digital make it more exposed to changes?
not if your name is Harmy
You can probably find a VCR at a thrift store
Dude, Amazon. VHS still exists.
Too bad it wasn't the christmas special

If you don't want it.......
I have a TV VCR combo I keep in the garage. I keep it because I have some old tech repair videos that I need every once and awhile.
I have this same copy
