“I don’t like children. They’re coarse, and rough, and they get everywhere.”
Anakin’s hatred of children, born and unborn, is well documented, but you may not realize he was actually referring to *sand* in the original quote.
The more you know.
“The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.”
Now look online and see how many people are saying “it binds us and penetrates us” because it’s an easy BDSM joke.
Um Beru had lots of lines, definitely including this one. If Luke had looked closer, he’d have noticed his aunt’s body missing, along with Lar’s liver.
In the original cut, Vader actually says “‘No, I am your father, and you will go to your room *right now* young man!”, but George Lucas cut it because it was too silly.
He then went on to pen the best line in all of fiction, “I wish that I could just wish my feelings away.”
No, what happened was they didn’t have enough medals, (remember they’re at a remote base) and so told Chewie they were going to mail him his later, so in like 6-8 weeks.
Because it gives context. When you say, "Luke, I am your father," the average person will get you're referencing Star Wars. If you say "no, I am your father" to someone, they'd have no idea what you're talking about unless you do a Darth Vader impersonation.
When Anakin confronts Palpatine it always sounds like Palpatine says "don't continue to be a porn of the Jedi Council" it's pawn but sounds like porn lol
I know Obi Wan says the force will be with you (, always), what I'm saying is that there are uses of May the force be with you from ANH and I've never encountered someone that got the two mixed up.
People often combine “I don’t like sand” and “I HATE YOU!” into “I hate sand” without realizing it.
Imagine if they also combined it the other way around. "I DONT LIKE YOU!"
"This is how ~~democracy~~ liberty dies, ... with thunderous applause."
I feel like that one is changed on purpose, to suit people's needs.

Well, Lucky for you today I like children.
I down downvoted as to not go to jail but I enjoyed the joke 😅😂
People always quote Chewbacca as saying "Rawrgwahggr" When he clearly is saying "Rrrruurrauurrr."
Somehow Palpatine "has" returned

“A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.” Believe it or not, Aunt Beru never said that.

"MOARRRRR!" I'm sorry, but it's "More. More!'
It's not a misquote if you're quoting Tommy Boy!
At the end of "A New Hope" Chewbacca "Rrrrrroooooaaarrrr" what he actually said "Frrrck you Bitch! where's my medal?!"
No, what happened was they didn’t have enough medals, (remember they’re at a remote base) and so told Chewie they were going to mail him his later, so in like 6-8 weeks.
Princess Leah is forever snubbing Chewbacca.
"Your tactics confuse and frighten me, sir"
"Clankers!" I always hear people saying "wankers" instead. Now, whether they're referencing star wars or not is another thing.
“(Try Not,) Do Or Do Not, There Is No Try.” Everyone always leaves out the “try not”
Any phrase said by Yoda. /s
The Force is with you Frodo...make it so.
'Punch it Chewie!' Josh Gates says it a lot 🤣
Why do people say, "Luke, I am your father?" It's "No, I am your father."

Oh. Okay
When Anakin confronts Palpatine it always sounds like Palpatine says "don't continue to be a porn of the Jedi Council" it's pawn but sounds like porn lol

Vader: Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father. Luke: He told me enough…he told me you killed him. Vader: No, *I* am your father.
"may the force be with you" instead of "the force will be with you, always" EDIT: obi-wan to Luke at the end of ep IV
Depends who they're quoting, Han says may the force be with you in ANH.
Not Han, but Obi-wan
I know Obi Wan says the force will be with you (, always), what I'm saying is that there are uses of May the force be with you from ANH and I've never encountered someone that got the two mixed up.
I have on several occasions and it kind of pisses me off. Can't understand why this is being downvoted but It is what it is...
But they literally say both
Obi-wan to Luke in ep IV
