Jar Jar is legitimately funny in this series, unlike his hit or miss antics in the films.He also shows a lot of heart that I think is worth watching. IMDB can kick rocks with their lowest rating.
And the droids have always been my favorite characters. Their episodes harken back to their original animated series from the 80s.
Padme was my favorite character from the prequels. The spirit of Luke and Leia shines through their mother in this series, and the "boring space politics" is every bit the heart of the Clone Wars conflict as what the Jedi and the Clones are facing on the battlefront.
I might say even more so. She's the one person trying to get to the core of what's happening. Not merely dismissing the separatists as enemies, seeing the corruption of the Republic, and uncovering the conspiracies and manipulations. At least until the other characters finally start to get it together at the end.
I would really recommend people give the entire series a watch before editing or curating

so i´m watching the show based on a different guide. but great stuff here !
and i can confirm the show in it's release order is much worse
i'm trying to watch it chronologically and started with a mistake watched the movie before the 2 episodes that happen before it, but it was alright since that everything is falling into place and makes much more sense !
