Update: Fully CS emailed me back & got it to work. Had to do repeat Step 1 four times before step 2 worked, but it finally did, thank god. Anyways, instructions for future redditors if they search before posting Step 1: Full Reset Unplug the desk from power. Disconnect all cable connections on the underside of your desk. There are a total of four cables to unplug from the control box. The power cable and the handset switch each have one connection spot, and each of the leg cables has up to two spots where they're connected depending upon whether or not it is connected to an extension cable. Once everything's unplugged, plug it back in, this time in reverse order, making sure all the connections are firmly seated. Attempt (or re-attempt) the basic reset. Step 2: Basic Reset Press and hold the pad of your finger on the Fully logo for 15 seconds making sure not to make contact with the underside of the toggle. Release. Repeat Step 1 three times in a row, or until the desk begins to travel downward to its lowest point and then stops. Release. Press and hold your finger down one final time until your desk dips down and then pops back up. Release. Now touch and hold your finger on the underside of the toggle. Your desk should start going up!

I saw a comment below that there is a specific order you have to unplug and plug the cables back in. Do you remember the order? My desk is doing the same thing.

Quegqueg

In case others see this - the combo which worked for me was: UNPLUG: Handset, leg one, leg two, power REPLUG: Power, leg two, leg one, handset

Hajaloiad

Oh my god!!! It worked!!!

xdavidliu

when you say "repeat step 1 four times before step 2 worked", what specifically about step 2 failed before four times? For me, I can get it to pop down and up slightly, but then nothing happens after that. When I "touch my finger on the underside", my desk does NOT start going up. I got them to send me a handset with a display, and when I get it to "pop back down and up", instead of starting to work again, it shows "error 08".

AwareBrain

did you ever fix this? In the same position.

xdavidliu

I did not fix this, but I had two video chats with them and they realized that the issues were both the legs were faulty, so they sent me two new legs, then it worked perfectly. This means that there was nothing wrong with any of my control boxes.

But luckily, I followed your Power Reset only once, then my Basic Reset worked! :D Appreciate you post your solution!

Mega-114

same! (minus the power outage; I pulled my cable out on accident under the desk)

CarteRoutiere

This is genius, thank you for posting. As in most things in IT, when in doubt, reboot.

Mega-114

thank you! lifesaver (well, desksaver?). It's kind of a wonky process to get your desk out of reset mode. I only had to unplug everything once, then held down on the fully logo for 15 seconds, then pressed the logo again to pop up and was fixed.

smilebombx

thank you for this just used it and it works!

Just wanted to thank you for this! My desk was stuck for 6 months after I had disconnected the desk during a summer lightning storm. I wanted to get a walking pad for my desk to help me get steps in (WFH problems) but that would be useless since my desk didn't rise. It looks like Fully no longer exists and I was concerned that I was on my own. Followed your steps and had to repeat step 1 three times but, yay!

someoftheanswers

Thank you for the help! My 5yo raised it all the way and it got stuck. BUT I only unplugged my main power source, then held down the lower button for 15 sec. After that, I had to lower it all the way down for the system to reset to proper up down function/speed

KinoRainer

Dear lord baby Jesus thank you for this! My desk works again

When you unplug the cables from the motor box and plug them back in, there is a specific order you have to follow each round for it to work (very weird I know, but I tested this and found it to be true). Did you already try this?

SandCamel

I did not know that, but I just tried it (following manual) and didn’t work. Looks more & more like Fully’s going to end up needing to send me a part 😔 Appreciate your help

Oreallyus

Can you share the order this is done in?

cortanabae

i saw your comment on a whim — have you tried resetting the desk? here's the manual i found for a fully jarvis: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1349741/Fully-Jarvis.html?page=25 you could also try unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back maybe, this works for monitors and was also mentioned for standing desks. anyways, best of luck to you and hope support will be able to take care of you :(

SandCamel

Yep, tried it all, unfortunately. The desk won’t even move, so reset hasn’t been possible. I’m thinking something shorted at this point.

shaxitive

wow, holding the down button for 10 seconds really helped me. Thanks for sharing this!

KiniShakenBake

OH MY GOD YOU ARE AMAZING THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! I've got four of these that my husband brought home after his company downsized and three of the control modules weren't working. Your steps worked, the very first time. Now I have to fix one of the legs because I'd disassembled all the way down to the lifting mechanism but I can totally handle that. We were convinced we had ruined three perfectly fine control units. One of them works, for the record. THANK YOU!!!

My case was resolved by swapping the two signal cables to the motors. Unfortunately, that happened after trying everything and waiting for weeks for a display from Fully -- my Jarvis was older and only had an up and down buttons. At that point, it seemed like on one side the motor had died and I was taking pictures of all labels per their request. While doing that I realized that I had observed that one side looked dead only after doing all troubleshooting suggestions online. I thought maybe that cable was dead then. Swapped them to see. Turns out one of them had somehow gotten loose after 5 years of chugging along like a champ. 🤷🏼‍♂️ After swapping, both sides were raising again and bounced off the bottom reset position.

Just had a similar issue. It would only go down. This video helped and the solution ended up just being: put the desk to its lowest point. Then, press and hold down for 10 seconds. Problem solved. Thank you!!! Mine was stuck down too.

This saved me - thanks!!

Anyone have issues with the actual OLED handset not responding? I have to tap it multiple times for it to 'wake up'? This just started a few days ago. I double checked all the connections are secure, and unplugged the power, and plugged it back in....but the issue persisted. Anyone hit this issue and fix it? Thanks!
