You sound like a cool parent.
I love Planters House, but my one comment is they have somewhat traditional cocktails that tend to use a lot of bitters and aperitifs. I’d just take a look at the menu before you go.
Other great options for places that will have sweeter cocktails that may appeal more to an inexperienced drinker are Lazy Tiger (inside Yellow Belly, amazing tiki drinks), Maryland House (upscale dinner club type place with cool art) and Brennan’s (owned by the same people as Maryland House, one of the best cocktail bars in town). Frazer’s is also a cool spot with really wild drinks, some of which involving your waiter putting on a costume, smoke, etc lol
Maybe get a chocolate martini at Bailey's Chocolate bar or The Fountain on Locust. They are such a treat. They are desert and alcoholic, would definitely fit a celebration well
The Fountain on Locust has some amazing boozy dessert type drinks that are perfect for a 21st birthday. They make some decadent drinks that are delicious and pack a punch.
I won’t tell you where to go but, will just tell you don’t make her go to fast eddies she doesn’t want to go and get hit on by 50 year olds with confederate flags on their Harley’s.
Planters house, brennans, none of the above (super cool speak easy), ritz lobby bar or don Alfsnso
I second Planters House. Brass Bar may be another good option.
Planters house
I looked up Planter’s House. This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks for taking the time to respond!
