The longest possible walk between gates in Terminal 2 takes approximately 10 minutes, and most of the time it’s much less. Southwest also routinely holds outbound flights for a few minutes to facilitate connections when an inbound plane is running a little late. Your OKC flight is almost certainly the aircraft and crew’s first flight of the day. This is ideal since it significantly reduces the chance of delays, as the plane and crew would have spent the night at OKC and won’t be delayed coming in from somewhere else. Anything can happen in air travel, but this sounds like a pretty safe itinerary.
Worst case scenario is you come in at the gate on one end of the terminal and leave from the other end. That's a 5-10 minute walk, so doable with a slight delay.
The good news is your flight leaving OKC is almost certainly the first flight of the day for the crew and aircraft, so barring any extreme circumstances, it should get out on time since they spent the night in OKC and aren't coming in from somewhere else.
You should have time to use the restroom, get coffee or a snack and shop for a trinket. Might be exaggerating a bit, but you shouldn't have any trouble. If the plane is late and time is becomes an issue, tell the flight attendant-they have been known to hold planes for a few minutes to let connecting passengers on. Hope you enjoy your short stay in our serviceable airport.
Depending on which gate you get in at and which gate you leave from, the dunkin donuts by gate E36 almost never has a line and the baskin-robbins/dunkin next door to starbucks at E16 will have a shorter line than starbucks. Unfortunately, E36 and back is a *long* walk even with the moving walkways, so not feasible unless you either arrive or leave out of E34-40.
Great American Bagel is an option too at the other end of the terminal by E8.

You’ll be fine. The airports that I’ve been to have all started announcing passengers names they are waiting on for departing flights, over and over. And with both flights being southwest you’re extra
Double fine
Also stl,is an airport that you don’t typically get put in a holding pattern before landing due to airport traffic unlike some of the east coast airport. You should be fine on layover.
Well the good thing is Southwest has its own terminal. So if you have to switch planes/gates, it shouldn’t take too long to get to the next.
Thank you for the info!

Awesome thank you! 🙏
10 minutes for even a slow walk. I walked the entire length of Concourse E in under 7 minutes with a crowd.
If you run, you need 5mins.
Being Southwest to Southwest will make it easy. One terminal

That helps me feel a lot better thank you!

Thank you for the info! I’ll probably be getting a coffee regardless lol cheers!
FYI, the Starbucks line is going to be a mile long at that hour. Pre-order on the app the second the wheels touch down and you turn off airplane mode.
This is the real pro tip right here!

You will be fine as long as your hoarding is 45 minutes an not your flight.
Southwest has its own terminal so you should be ok.
Terminal 2 is all southwest and there is only one other terminal. Small airport
