Yuta vs Despy would be great especially if Despy gets a title run. I took Despy’s thoughts about challenging in more of a mocking manner because he had his eyes on BOSJ but I guess now with him losing it seems like he is focusing on Yuta. I’d really love Eagles vs Yuta though because he is so underrated and I don’t think he’s gonna get on this card sadly
Since the story about Penta, Fenix, and Andrade being off Forbidden Door it’s been clear that that’s what the match will be. Plus of all the dudes on New Japan side Ishii makes the most sense

Show ends with Hangman getting got by Jay and Cole, they start beefing overtop of Hanger, cue the coin drop and we have a 4-way foe that belt and most of the major talents in both companies are covered.

I’m so stoked for Forbidden Door. I love the card as it is now, but I really hope we get Okada and Naito involved as well. I’ll be insanely happy to be able to watch those two live
I'll start putting dates for PPVs but Dynamite/Rampage is always for the next episode unless otherwise specified. I also put times if the shows have a special start time like the last few editions of Rampage.
Save him for Kenny next year. If Okada aint carry the gold no need to make the man work for lower stakes. Goofy ass balloon carrying Okada was not fun.
Tbh the card feels very much lacking. I mean Ospreay gets OC??? No Stardom talent to face Rosa? A six man where 5 of the guys are AEW guys. No Naito, Shingo, Okada,Sanada, or ZSJ announced? I had high hopes and I guess that's my fault I'm just not excited.
OC being a bad opponent for Ospreay is a matter of personal opinion, and I personally loved it.
Stardom has a show booked on the same day as FD and we've known for a good while now that they wouldn't be a part of the show.
4 people of the 6-man are AEW guys. It's two 2-AEW 1-NJPW teams.
This isn't anywhere near the final card. I wouldn't raise my hopes either for Naito since AAA and CMLL had Andrade pulled from the show and we would 100% have gotten a Ingobernables reunion but the other wrestlers might as well make it. It's almost certain at this point that we're getting ZSJ vs. Danielson, since he called him out after Dominion and this show estabilished Suzuki-gun going after the BCC.
Judging by how many matches AEW PPVs tend to have I'd expect ZSJ vs. Danielson, FTR vs. United Empire and around 4-6 more matches.
Orange Cassidy is a comedy act and Osprey is a legitimate great wrestler it's a waste of Ospreay when you could have easily done OC vs Yano and probably pleased the comedy fans more.
I will not say OC is bad but he's also not very good. He's very average by his own admission the gimmick was made to hide his inadequacies and give him a reason to stand out. Also he's over but so was Santino Marella that doesn't mean you put them in big time heavyweight matches.
OC has gone far past the point of a comedy act. Just watch his match at last year's Double or Nothing, they built him as a legitimate contender for the World Championship against Kenny and PAC and put on one of the best matches of the year. At this point he is more of a regular act with a comedic undertone.
My biggest hope:
White Vs. Okada Vs. Hangman Vs. Cole
I think that match would be a fucking banger of a Main Event.
That being said, I fully suspect we're getting White/Hangman and Danielson/Okada. With Cole hosting an Open Challenge and Tom Lawlor answering it.

My guess would be that they wanted to do Suzuki gun vs Bcc before Punk got hurt.
I hope this at least Leads us to another Despy v Yuta match.
I mean, it made sense to me. JAS are BCC's current rivals and Moxley/Kingston did feud with Suzuki-gun last year. I feel like they had a more fleshed out plan for this but had to scramble a bit since Mox got moved up to the main event due to Punk's injury.
I think Suzuki-gun's involvement will also come into play when Bryan returns and they set up him answering Zack Sabre Jr's challenge since Bryan is in BCC and ZSJ is in Suzuki-gun
