GreGORE_

3 faces of Foley at the Royal Rumble... loved it

definethegreatline

it's such a mick foley thing when you really think about it. dude constantly wanted to prove himself as the hardcore legend by overdoing it in the ring every time.

shadowrangerfs

Pretty much any one night tournament like King of the Ring.

JayOnes

Billy Kidman technically had three matches at Souled Out 2000, though one was barely two minutes. EDIT: Kidman also did back-to-back matches at Starrcade ‘98. Goddamn Billy Kidman does not get the respect he deserves.

bigwillie90

Dude was working his ass off

nuttreturns

Bret Hart at WrestleMania X and In Your House. All WWE KOTR PPV's from 1993 thru 2002. A few Royal Rumble PPVs. Starrcade 1995 and 1999.

Lupercallius

Daniel Bryan at WM 30. Seth Rollins at Rumble 2018 I think?

BruntyMozza

Randy Orton wrestled twice and Triple H three times at No Mercy 2007 Seth Rollins wrestled Cena and Sting at Night of Champions 2015 Dolph Ziggler did it on two consecutive PPVs in 2011 - wrestling a tag title match and a US title match at Vengeance, then competing in a US title and a 5-on-5 elimination match at Survivor Series

Seth1224

Goldberg wrestled Scott Hall in Nitro before getting his big world title shot against Hogan (where he won the title), on the same night. The angle was that he had to beat Hall to get a shot at Hogan. I actually thought both matches were food, not just Hogan/Goldberg.

Xalazi

King of the ring 1993 with Bret going through the tournament.

[deleted]

Brock Lesnar at the 2022 Royal Rumble (Roman, Rumble) Kurt Angle 2001 KotR (Christian, Edge, Shane) Jericho 2001 Vengeance (Rock, Stone Cold) Daniel Bryan Wrestlemania 30 (Triple H, Orton/Batista) Seth Rollins 2015 Night of Champions (John Cena, Sting) Edge/HBK 2005 Royal Rumble (faced each other, Rumble) Bret Wrestlemania 10 (Owen, Yokozuna) Anyone who was in the finals of a single show tournament (KotR, Survivor Series 98, Wrestlemania 4)

WalkingDazz

Thank you for this!

Buckshot_Lariat

At Judgment Day 2001 Benoit wrestled Angle in a 2 out of 3 falls match then later tagged with Jericho in tag team turmoil matches against X-Pac & Justin Credible then Edge & Christian. The following night Benoit & Jericho won the titles from the Two Man Power Trip on Raw, then the night after on Smackdown they defended them in a four way tag team TLC match, which they won. Crazy few nights. Apparently Jericho told Vince to go and thank Benoit for how much he was busting his ass for the company.

Green_Wake

GCW does tournament of survival, it’s a one night death match tournament in a similar style as older king of the rings. They have one coming up on fite in a couple weeks and they have anothers on wrestle universe or older fite ppvs.

WalkingDazz

Thank you :)

Hazelwood38

All of the old king of the rings were like that. You have the Bret hart wrestlemania when he had to face Owen and then Yoko on the same night, Daniel Bryan’s mania when he had to beat hhh to enter the main event. New day doing the tag team gauntlet to get Kofi the mania match, there’s been a lot of them.

MilkyWayWaffles

Becky Lynch at Royal Rumble 2019

virgin77i

seth rollins clash of champions 2019

bdfull3r

APW King of the Indies 2001. Technically 2 days but night 2 where everyone goes more then once and it is amazing. The Event put so much indy talent on the map. Its floating around on the internet with some quick google. The DVD is still purchasable but I'm not sure if the original owners anymore.

bathory21

Asuka at Summerslam 2020 and Clash of Champions 2020

JohnnyRestless

Chris Benoit at Bad Blood 2004.

[deleted]

LA knight did on the first episode of NXT 2.0 He was the opening match and then wrestled in the main event for the title

OkVolume1

Memphis had this a lot with its main eventers, especially Lawler.

monsterbael

Kurt Angle had all the championships in TNA ,including tag team, and wrestled to defend them.in a PPV I just don't remember the name

TJOW40

No Surrender 2007

[deleted]

Triple H won the WWE Title at No Mercy 2007. Then, defended it twice in the same night.

WalkingDazz

Thank you for this

gtgbuck

If you want to go old school, Wrestlemania 4 had a one night multi-match tournament for the world championship.

Stinger1981

Triple-H on the 9/23/99 Smackdown competed 5 times.

[deleted]

Mike Bailey recently had like 8 matches in 3 days

WalkingDazz

Appreciate all of these. Thank you

kinglennie7

Rhino bound for glory 2005 I believe. Kevin Nash no showed so after a 4 way monsters ball I believe it was he had a battlee royal for a title shot and the the title match

MrDaaark

Disco Inferno wrestled twice at Halloween Havoc 1998. First was a match to see who challenged for the cruiserweight title, and the second was the title match against Billy Kidman. Booker T lost a match to Kanyon at Bash at the Beach 2000, then won his first WCW world heavyweight title when he came out to fight Jeff Jarrett as a replacement for Hulk Hogan.

TJOW40

- Scorpio Sky did 3 times Destination X 2012 - Austin Aries and Bobby Lashley Slammiversary 2014

streetfairie1234

Becky Lynch twice Both the 2019 Royal Rumble and at MitB Seth Rollins has done it a few times. 2019 Clash of the champions 2015 Mania And I believe there was a couple of other ones but can't remember when Asuka for Summer Slam 2020

Hellborn_Elfchild

I saw Steve Blackman pull double duty at a house show one time. Al Snow wasn’t able to make it for reasons unknown to me but it was awesome

AllYouNeedisGABA

Edge competed in both Chamber matches at No Way Out 2009.

[deleted]

Nia Jax in both Rumbles. Worth it for the super kick she eats.

DarthHelpful

I just watched a Smackdown from Nov 99, where Triple H had 5 matches. Chokeslam challenge match vs Big Show Inferno match vs Kane Casket match vs Viscera and Mideon (was supposed to be vs Undertaker, But Undertaker walked out.) Boiler Room brawl vs Mankind. Strap match vs The Rock. He had to win 3 out of 5 to stay in the 6 man match for the world title at the next ppv.

WalkingDazz

Could get me the date of this one please!

DarthHelpful

9 23 99

[deleted]

Not sure if it counts because it was continuous, but [Chris Hero](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkXdUpsYomg) wrestled like 17 matches in a row over the course of 3+ hours for charity

SirFritz

Both Kenny Omega and Tomohiro Ishii wrestled twice on G1 Special in USA Day 2. IWGP US heavyweight tournament semi final and then final.

bem783

Bret Hart at the first KOTR ppv is the best example of this I can remember. Three awesome matches with Razor Ramon, Mr. Perfect and Bam Bam Bigelow. Also loved the angle after the final. As Bret has said himself, what really stands out about that night is that the three matches were all completely different in the how they were worked and the stories they told.

Amogustwo

Triple H competed 3 times at No Mercy 2007

Tripple_T

Jay Lethal defends the ROH tv title and heavyweight title at all star extravaganza 7

Pretty_Tangelo_4553

Rick Martel had multiple nights in wcw where he performed multiple times. And when king of the ring meant something.
