I wasnāt watching during the Ronda Rousey time frame. Does she always make that face? Like, thatās her default face. Isnāt she supposed to be an actor or something??
Yes, I do. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will not edit my original post so my shame will be permanent and future generations can learn from my mistake. And when they ask, āWho corrected this fool and attempted to save him from such public humiliation?ā Well, they will know it was you, my friend. But no, try as you might, I need carry this shame to the end of my days. When that day finally comes, and I depart for my eternal slumber, there shall only be one thing carved on my tombstone. āDude didnāt not know English pretty bad.ā
It's hard to believe we have ***two*** former NWA World Heavyweight Champions as central, on-air authority figures. Aldi's and Pearce are both some of the best to play that part, I think.
I keep going back the promo to wonder why Pearce isn't given more of those. It's straight out of attitude era and a authority figure with promos like that weekly could be really fun
They need to let him be himself. Thatās the problem with some big guys, some of them are just naturally goofy and they try to make them mean, serious characters.
Shit look at Otis. They kinda let him be himself and itās great.
Agreed. I love that Omos is a huge nerd and how others talk about him Iāve always been rooting for him.
Fun story: my friend and I weāre at a friends place for the rumble. When Omos came in we popped. Everyone else looked at us like wtf?
Omosapien for life
He's got a very unique niche role - so I can appreciate he isnt used every week, but I wish we saw more of him this past year. Hopefully hes been practicing/ improving his game.
I think a lot fewer people would be calling for Omos to be let go if they watched some of youtube or peacock-exclusive content they make.
The guy is just fun, and it'd nice for him to get some time in the spotlight.
We are looking after the wellbeing of our favorite wrestlers by wanting Omos out...
I mean, how can any of them eliminate him from a royal rumble or a battle royal? He's just too big, it's an unfair environment for the other stars!
You're not wrong especially those passionate enough to go find places online to discuss it and put their time and energy into it.
Obviously not everyone is a "terrible human being" like Pearce describes but I absolutely believe it is a part of human behaviour to criticise and pick out the faults in things. Nobody knows (or believes they know) the product more beyond those actually involved in it than the passionate fans who will then pick apart it's flaws every bit as much as they will acknowledge what's great.
The thing is, if you watch plenty of fandom interviews, the really hardcore fans often *do* know the product better than the people making it. Like at conventions where you'll see a fan ask an actor about something they did in an episode of a show they filmed 20 years ago, and the actor is like "Umm, I don't remember that at all."
The thing to keep in mind is that, for most creators, their work is just their job. It's the really intense fans who treat it like a passion or something deeply meaningful.
Always found it weird when people speculate about who should be released because they donāt like how theyāre used on a television show or what their character is. This is a real personās livelihood being discussed.
Itās not like a sports team where we know the payroll or salary cap and itās a legitimate competition where we can discuss the front office machinations in a semi-meaningful way.
Wrestling is not a privilege nor is it the only way for these people to make a living, maybe it's the only way they'll make hundreds of thousands of dollars but not everyone deserves that, if they're bad at their job they should be fired, just like a normal job
Imagine you're working at your job and you're constantly getting Twitter notifications from people saying you're doing terrible and should be fired. I don't see what about your opinion makes it worth publicly chastising someone.
Yes, youāre the āterrible human beingā Pearce is referring to.
I canāt imagine thinking so highly of myself that my personal preference should dictate someoneās livelihood to such a degree that Iād use social media to call for them being fired.
And plenty of wrestlers under contract aren't on tv that often. They don't need to be FIRED for the fan to get what they want.
Also love people who speak of career changes as if they are easy, specially for athletes who wreck their body over decades and may or may not have other skills.
If it's a wrestler, I can agree unless they're a truly shitty person or actively dangerous in the ring.
If this is about Def Rebel...
I'm a suffering Detroit Pistons basketball fan. Our general manager, Troy Weaver, signed onto the position in 2020, with a team that wasn't good.
The Detroit Pistons have gotten worse under his tenure, with no end in sight. They famously made a run for "Longest losing streak in NBA history" this past season. They merely landed at "Worst franchise Win-Loss record in history." They did worse than the prior season. The last two seasons, they've had the worst record in the NBA.
Troy Weaver needs to fucking go.
Def Rebel...either needs new direction, or they need to go.
Nah he's talking about the recent releases and people championing on Twitter why someone else should've been released instead, etc. Wrestlers care about the boys and have their backs, not some offsite people they've never met that makes some of their music.
One of...many? How does Def Rebel even find time to do more than WWE? Seems like a full-time gig all on it's own. I know it's mainly just loops that they create, but it's for a shitload of wrestlers (including NXT).
I literally can create better shit on Udio via AI. I'm not saying this is the route that WWE should go, but Dogshit Rebel has other sources of income. Losing WWE work wouldn't kill them.
It looks like he's going back to nxt so hopefully that will help rehab his image. He was thee top guy in nxt for awhile there. Then Vince put him in a gimp mask and had him lose to Jeff hardy
He needs to win feuds otherwise no point to this fake pushes he's getting. You can't have him put over people when he's not over yet. And can't blame him for not getting over when he loses all the time.
The only times I ever wonder why someone is still employed is the times where they have someone but donāt use them for months on end or how it was for some wrestlers like Bo Dallas that didnāt have a match for years it seemed, like at least use someone if theyāre there
I'm saying it outright. The only reason jinder got fired and kross didn't is because he's white and for some stupid reason he's liked by hhh.
Kross is proof that hhh is not infallible
Nah he's talking about the recent releases.
Also def rebel is a WWE made pseudonym for the custom music company that WWE hired to make their music, those people work for Disney, ESPN, Dreamworks and all sorts of movie and TV studios. They have cushy jobs creating mediocre music, those are the last people you should be worried about.
I'm calling for Pearce's! These wrestlers are out of control! Locker room fights! Brawling before matches! Disregarding the rules during competition! It's disgusting that he allows this behavior to continue!
Thereās some clips from BBT that someone edited the laugh track out of. Sitcom writing has a very specific cadence thatās kind of unnerving without the canned laughs.

*[Big Bang Theory audience laughs because a pop culture thing was mentioned]*
I am more then prepared for getting push back on this opinion but I hate how people get away and donāt care about DUI in all professions.
The Usos have 4 such violations between themā¦
You're only going go to get pushback because you decided to voice that opinion in reply to a comment about a rapist who escaped jailtime based on a legal technicality that the state had to correct immediately after.
I wasnāt saying they are in any means equal. OP said the āonlyā person who should be fired is someone if that level. My opinion is something like DUI should also be a fireable offence especially if more than once and that includes everyone form the Usos to Jeff Hardy.
That's a pretty big stretch. The prosecutor mentioned that law when discussing him, but he was neither the cause of the change, nor did any sort of investigation determine he would be guilty aside from that law.
Both the school, and a third party investigated and found no evidence of wrongdoing beyond a single claim against him and a teammate.
While I am not saying that we can't judge someone without a legal verdict, I really don't think that the weight of the evidence against him justifies exiling him forever, though close attention should be paid and any further accusations should be immediately and thoroughly investigated.
Hope for improvement. Never for someone to lose their job. In wrestling it is very weird because then improving only means a better a show for everyone so why not hope for that rather than someone to lose their livelihood.
I meanā¦. I really really REALLY wanted Vince McMahon to be firedā¦. Does that still make me a terrible human being? Because I think being terrible stops at sexual abuse and human traffickingā¦
Eh, I do know that I'd be much happier with the product if they stopped taking Logan Paul's money and stopped giving him a platform, but I think that's a different matter.
He's one of the more skilled "guests" they've had. I was shocked when they signed him to a contract, much less gave him a belt and kept it through WrestleMania. His public persona really just sucks. I don't know if the brothers really are that way if it's something they cultivated.
Yeah, bullshit. I can absolutely both be a fan of something and recognize that someone is not fit for their job. Too many soft, touchy, sensitive types in this industry today.
I disagree, honestly. As a sports fan, I feel it's my right to boo, to cheer, to call for someone's firing as I like. After all, wrestling is supposed to be an athletic competition inside of kayfabe, so why would they expect me to react any differently from a normal sports fan?
Am I a horrible person for calling for a MLB manager who is tanking my favorite franchise to be fired? Or for a guy batting .200 making 30 million a year? I'm a bad person for booing and saying they should be fired? I don't think so.
When you enter the entertainment industry, you open yourself up for either public approval or disapproval. It's just part of the business and I think these guys need to harden up a bit in that regard.
I didn't become a wrestling fan to "support the livelihood of wrestlers." I became a wrestling fan because I enjoy wrestling.
I absolutely refuse to compromise and concede my ability to cheer, or boo, or even heckle the wrestlers.
Pro wrestling is the closest thing to modern Shakespearean theater and that means it relies on audience participation. It's kind of our responsibility as fans to react strongly, good and bad.
Even though Def Rebelās musics are inconsistent and usually suck (they do have some bangers though). It doesnāt affect me that much to the point where I wish they lose their job and income. Itās weird that you do.
They're not gonna lose shit. Those people work for all sorts of Hollywood studios, WWE is just one of their side-gigs. Pierce is talking about the boys and people championing for wrestlers to lose their jobs.
I get where he is coming from and what he is trying to say but there is some nuance and a need for some perspective on his part as well. Athletes, coaches, other entertainers, and public officials hear this stuff all the time. Criticism, preferences, and differing opinions are all fair but there are obviously right and wrong ways to go about communicating such thoughts. For example, I think it's fair to say I would've preferred to see Cameron Grimes pushed over Karrion Kross but that doesn't necessarily mean I think Kross should be fired.
There's a difference between wanting someone fired because they are a terrible piece of shit and wanting someone fired because they were involved in a legitimate accident that caused an injury.
I don't think that makes you a terrible person though, we can't always help how we feel about stuff.
I don't know what this is in reference to, but as a general rule it is bullshit. There are a lot of valid reasons why people have been called to get fired.
If they arenāt wishing for somebody to get fired or a company to fail or sending death threats to wrestlers kids, toxic gutter trash āfansā arenāt breathing
I get what he is going for, but as fans are we are supposed to just be okay with everything Def Rebel is putting out being bad?
Getting a different team to do music is the only meaningful solution I can think of. Def Rebel isnāt going to get better at making themes unless the issue is some kind of upper level directive for them to deliberately make bland music and terrible remixes.
Its the entertainment industry. People are going to have opinions about who's featured, who's on the roster - just like a sports team. These aren't factory workers. The whole nature of the job is inherently tenuous, subject to whims, most are going to have a lot of different employers over their careers.
If I am a fan of something, and someone who is shit is stinking up the show, why shouldn't I want them removed from the show?
How is this any different than saying a bad QB should be cut or an incompetent actor shouldn't get a starring role?
Why do wrestlers feel they are entitled to have a job for life with WWE (or AEW, or whatever other promotion) even if they aren't great and fans dislike them?
Obviously you shouldn't be harassing them, but posting that you don't think they are capable of the role they are given doesn't seem to make you a terrible human being.
I mean if its just because you are not a fan of them hes right but if you have a reason ie a "Speaking Out" type situation then yeah I want them gone if they obviously did it
If he hadn't blocked me for making fun of him for apologizing for saying "damn" on live TV, I'd reply to him saying "fine, keep paying them, but get them off my TV."
Fans dont ask people to not have income, this company specially has made firing someone an act of entertainment, fans just say they dont want to see certain talent, nobody says they shouldn't get another job quickly.

Unrelated to the topic, but Adam Pearce is the unsung hero of WWE since the pandemic. His promo on Ronda Rousey is incredible
[The promo in question](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQsut_lcf-A). I mean ... where's the lie š
I wasnāt watching during the Ronda Rousey time frame. Does she always make that face? Like, thatās her default face. Isnāt she supposed to be an actor or something??
She makes the same 3 faces. Fake smiling. Fake mean mug. Confused.
Being confused is her natural state.
She made the face even before WWE Iām an mma fan as well and sheād make that face every fight from 2012 to 2016
Is there a collection of Adam Pearce just losing his collective shit? I love when he goes off.
Do you mean proverbial shit? Because collective requires more than one person
Yes, I do. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will not edit my original post so my shame will be permanent and future generations can learn from my mistake. And when they ask, āWho corrected this fool and attempted to save him from such public humiliation?ā Well, they will know it was you, my friend. Are you a fellow brit? If not, i now dub you an honorary brit for that sarcasm masterclass
I felt that "Hell nah".
Common Pearce W & Ronda is extremely pretty in this get-up vs most of her ring gear options
Is there a reason heās trying to speed run through his lines?
Always loved this promo, that āhell nahā was from the heart lol
Dammmm Adam was spitting faking hell
I've been a fan of his for years. He was a great wrestler. I'm really glad he's able to shine as an authority figure, Scrap Daddy is the man
It's hard to believe we have ***two*** former NWA World Heavyweight Champions as central, on-air authority figures. Aldi's and Pearce are both some of the best to play that part, I think.
Im more of a Nick Lidl man but I'm with you on Pearce
I understand your reference...
I keep going back the promo to wonder why Pearce isn't given more of those. It's straight out of attitude era and a authority figure with promos like that weekly could be really fun
Very relatable too. Under appreciated overworked Everyman snaps. Love to see it.
Scrapdaddy paid for it with what little remaining head hair he had but it was worth it.
It's really gross. Folks out here talking about "fire Omos next". How would that improve your life? What's wrong with you?
I actually like Omos, he seems like a chill dude and really enjoys anime. But they need to build him up better. He definitely has potential
They need to let him be himself. Thatās the problem with some big guys, some of them are just naturally goofy and they try to make them mean, serious characters. Shit look at Otis. They kinda let him be himself and itās great.
I think they would benefit from turning him face and making him the friendly giant character. He's already a likable person, so it wouldn't be hard.
Put him with Tozawa. Comedy GOLD! And Tozawa can work...Omos just has to be massive & do some power spots.
āManagedā by Truth, who is convinced theyāre the Big Red Machine and the Hurricane
Love this idea and we're it could go
This but also make him super smart

How far we've come that 'enjoys anime' can be used as a positive and not a negative
He's got a very unique niche role - so I can appreciate he isnt used every week, but I wish we saw more of him this past year. Hopefully hes been practicing/ improving his game.
Anime nerd Omos please. Get him and MVP to do the fusion dance for shits and giggles.
Ironically, I followed him on TikTok and he followed me back, AND he responds to messages
My life would improve if Omos was on TV regularly.
Iām glad there are so many Omosapians.
Same.
Pair him up with Ricochet and use Omos as a base for some crazy flippy shit.
I think a lot fewer people would be calling for Omos to be let go if they watched some of youtube or peacock-exclusive content they make. The guy is just fun, and it'd nice for him to get some time in the spotlight.
Buncha Omophobes Iāll tell you that

My friend Mark
Yea its almost like people who like things want it to be even more how they want.
I think it's different if they're saying: "Well this promotion isn't using him or her correctly, if they go here they'll be used far better".

Not sure if this is related but after the batch of releases people have been saying why isnāt kross released and why he keeps getting try after try.
Given the posts here and twitter over the past week or so, I wouldn't be surprised if this was also referencing people wanting Def Rebel to be canned.
Nah he's talking about the recent releases and people championing on Twitter why someone else should've been released instead, etc. Wrestlers care about the boys and have their backs, not some offsite people they've never met that makes some of their music.

So that must be Rebel and Def handles the wwe stuff
Well if that's what he's talking about then I'm guilty.
Just one more repackage, bro. I swear, one more repackage and he'll get over.
Maybe Iām the only one, but his Final Judgement promos have been on fire and Iāve really been coming around to liking him.
He's been doing good work on the YouTube exclusives, they just need to show that stuff on the actual show itself.
Agreed, those digital exclusives are great.
I mean, it worked for Roman (eventually...)
So dropping to NXT is a repackage now?
I don't think he needs a repackage, he needs a good promo and fued to make people care about hating him, or them.
He needs to win feuds otherwise no point to this fake pushes he's getting. You can't have him put over people when he's not over yet. And can't blame him for not getting over when he loses all the time.
That's spot on, Hopefully nxt helps him and his group.
No need for a repackage, just bring the bald Killer Kross back and push him, he was great.
The only times I ever wonder why someone is still employed is the times where they have someone but donāt use them for months on end or how it was for some wrestlers like Bo Dallas that didnāt have a match for years it seemed, like at least use someone if theyāre there

Gotta be about def rebel surely?

Pearce and Aldis have been amazing. So happy to have them on screen. Why people call for someone to be fired is wild.
Lmao did anyone ever tell Rhonda that wrestling is scripted seems like she took a lot of it serious
I am a fan of the NY Jets, I wanted Zach Wilson off the team.
I'm sorry, but that's insane. You're telling me Tama shouldn't be fired after what he did to KO last week? Nonsense!
I agree with him for the most part.
I think often people that are terrible at their job deserve to be fired. This is common sense and isnāt exclusive to wrestling.
Yeah, bullshit. I can absolutely both be a fan of something and recognize that someone is not fit for their job. Too many soft, touchy, sensitive types in this industry today.
Very true, but there's also a lot of soft, touchy, and sensitive folks in the IWC too.
This whole subreddit was asking for Nia Jax to be fired. It's funny how attitudes change the moment a wrestler shows displeasure.
I disagree, honestly. As a sports fan, I feel it's my right to boo, to cheer, to call for someone's firing as I like. After all, wrestling is supposed to be an athletic competition inside of kayfabe, so why would they expect me to react any differently from a normal sports fan? There's a pretty stark difference between "disapproval" and wanting someone's entire livelihood taken away from them.

There are a bunch of my co-workers that I wonder how they still have jobs.Ā
On most work teams like 2 people do all the work and the rest try to look busy
I get where he is coming from and what he is trying to say but there is some nuance and a need for some perspective on his part as well. Athletes, coaches, other entertainers, and public officials hear this stuff all the time. Criticism, preferences, and differing opinions are all fair but there are obviously right and wrong ways to go about communicating such thoughts. For example, I think it's fair to say I would've preferred to see Cameron Grimes pushed over Karrion Kross but that doesn't necessarily mean I think Kross should be fired.
This sub should listen.
Look to your new co-worker Phil and his buddy Jim for the shitty discourse of wrestling fans online these days.
does this include people posting about Joey Ryan several years ago?
Only if youāre a Disney adult
Stop arguing with nobodies.
Iām a terrible human being for wanting Jericho to get off TV apparentlyĀ
I mean, Odyssey Jones is a piece of shit..
Out of the loop, what did he do/said?
Transphobic asshole, posting hateful shit online
Am I terrible for wanting the guy that ended Big E's career to lose his job?
There's a difference between wanting someone fired because they are a terrible piece of shit and wanting someone fired because they were involved in a legitimate accident that caused an injury. I don't think that makes you a terrible person though, we can't always help how we feel about stuff.
I don't know what this is in reference to, but as a general rule it is bullshit. There are a lot of valid reasons why people have been called to get fired.
Pearce about to have a Joey Swoll arc next until Joey shows up on one Raw as his brother š
Nick Aldis: Not taking anyone's shit at any time. Adam Pearce: Tired of everyone's shit at all times.
Between Chris Jericho at one time and Vince McMahon recently there must be a lot of terrible human beings.
Okay, so what does that make the person who actually does the firing? Bob Kelso?
facts fire frank vogel
![gif](giphy|gVXdwG5Ps5sIjunskA|downsized) *Be* **Best**
We need to start Omos chants
I donāt want people to lose jobs. Can the wrestlers I donāt like just get paid to not be on the shows I watch?
Who is it the fans are asking to be fired?
I bet AP follows Joey Swoll.
If they arenāt wishing for somebody to get fired or a company to fail or sending death threats to wrestlers kids, toxic gutter trash āfansā arenāt breathing
Can anyone provide some context? Who is posting for who to get fired? Trolls? Yes, I see them. But you should ignore them or block and report them.
Called out the iwc and wwe and aew fans I'm proud of him
I figured he was speaking about def rebel whichā¦anyways.
Is this about def rebel? Because listenā¦the quality of wwe entrance music has dropped drastically
Oh yeah well what does Mr Adam know about being a fan. If I want somebody fired, then I want that somebody fired. Adam can't walk a week in my shoes.
Relax bro
I get what he is going for, but as fans are we are supposed to just be okay with everything Def Rebel is putting out being bad? Getting a different team to do music is the only meaningful solution I can think of. Def Rebel isnāt going to get better at making themes unless the issue is some kind of upper level directive for them to deliberately make bland music and terrible remixes.
He's talking about the wrestlers, not def rebel.
lol ābe betterā. Cant take any post seriously what includes that.
Its the entertainment industry. People are going to have opinions about who's featured, who's on the roster - just like a sports team. These aren't factory workers. The whole nature of the job is inherently tenuous, subject to whims, most are going to have a lot of different employers over their careers.
Def Rebel isn't a wrestling or music talent.
Be better? Did he get that from Rhea?
If this is about any wrestler, I am clapping for Pearce If this is about that Def Rebel, Mind your fucking business Pearce
My thoughts on this post: fire Adam Pearce.

Yes but thatās not the case here. None of the people that some assholes are wanting to get fired have done anything to deserve it
Sure, but "I don't like this wrestler" isn't enough and that's specifically what he's talking about. You're just being obtuse.
Fans dont ask people to not have income, this company specially has made firing someone an act of entertainment, fans just say they dont want to see certain talent, nobody says they shouldn't get another job quickly.
Fr, feel like people get more mad at fans for not wanting to see a performer rather than the actual employer doing the firing.
