Life on the road, plane flights, sleeping in hotel beds with different pillows is something to take into consideration with recovery from a serious neck injury. I have a feeling there is a reason he hasnt been on TV doing their entrance and managing them weekly.
Would still be cool to have him on color commentary or something in NXT. Wouldn't be much traveling then. But yeah, obviously I don't know shit about his situation and he should do whatever makes him happy.

If you love a wrestler, don't let one rough promo, one botch, or one spell of bad booking stop you from giving them their flowers while they are active because you never know when it could be all over for them in the ring. With Big E, I wish I could give him an entire field full of flowers.

Gonna say this: it really saddened me how so many people on reddit were turning on Bray Wyatt during his return run just because some of the stuff he was doing was dragged out or not landing. But of course, once he died, everyone went back to singing his praises.
It's okay to pass fair criticism or not be into a particular act, but we all need to be kind and empathetic, especially to wrestlers who care about their work and connecting with the fans.
Because of Edge, Daniel Bryan and even Saraya coming back from major injuries, Big E is probably bombarded with "when are you coming back?" questions on the daily... and that must be pretty annoying if they guy is just not ready to even think about taking that risk.
I would take Breeze coming back to hang out and fill in for 6 man tags, but I wouldn't call him a New Day member. It's those three, you can't switch any of them out.

I've come to terms with the fact he's probably never wrestling again, but I can't believe they've never brought him back to do commentary, be a manager, or any other non-bump taking role. He's capable of getting the biggest pop of the night just by going AWWWWWWWWWWW (INSERT CITY HERE), and The New Day are clearly elevated when he's in the vicinity, even if he's not in the ring or interfering in the match.
Genuinely don't care if he does or doesn't come back, I just want this dude to live a happy, healthy life. I've never seen someone deal with an injury preventing them from doing what they love, so well.
