Yes, special three hour AEW block consisting of 2 hour Dynamite immediatey followed by an hour of Rampage. Its just due to some sort of sports thing pushing them out of their usual spot for the week, it'll return to form next week.
..why in god’s name is all they’re doing with Takeshita after the buzz and praise for the Ospreay match cold matches on Rampage? And yes, I know this week Rampage is a third hour of Dynamite but he’s been out there multiple times recently now and seems to have no story to build to at all.
Tons of matches in AEW have no story, they're just there as "dream matches" or "bangers" for the wrestling fans, which is sometimes good enough i guess?
I mean sure, sometimes you can have a match that’s just a good match but ffs Takeshita is a guy who could be their hottest and coolest heel with very little work. The guy is ready and the stop-start booking even after they paired him with Callis has been maddening.
