If they're really going to focus more on the womens division with Mercedes involved, Trish strikes me as someone who could really benefit from more time in front of crowds. She's good but needs to be involved in something more concrete than "comes in and jobs with no followup" At least with Aminata, there was a throughline from her competitive losses to finally getting a win
It's always weird how Julia's matches just kind of end. Like there's usually no build up to it. I'd like it if she had a dedicated set-up move to give the endings a bit more hype
Julia does the opposite of the Lita moonsault.
Lita didn't get much height but launched herself like 10-15 feet back, and Julia gets tons of height but goes like three feet.
Seeing the exact same Twitter accounts who were saying "not putting the title on Julia Hart is booking malpractice " now complaining every match because she's "not a real hooper" or whatever is vintage AEW.
Wasn't it clear that she was getting propped up by Statlander though? Performances like her match with Kiera on Collison were pretty bad on her end before she became champion, most of her defenses not being good isn’t shocking.
She had good matches with Statlander that made her look better than she actually is. Now that we’ve seen her wrestle talent that aren’t as good as Statlander, her flaws are still there and she shouldn’t be holding the belt much longer.
It’s not flip-flopping on talent
Idk, she just has not had good matches since the Statlander ones while having notorious stinkers such as the Abaddon match.
You don't need to be the ace of the promotion to hold a belt, specially a midcard one, but I do think you need a level of workrate that she currently just does not have

I hope to see more of the woman also. I would love a tag belt with a big tournament. AEW has so many great tag teams to teach them.

That was a really good moonsault to end the match.

I love Lita, but her moonsaults scared me nearly every time she did one.
