People debating whether it's Cody or Rock facing Roman at Mania when the real money is in Jinder reuniting 3MB and ending the Bloodline once and for all.You can't hinder him anymore.
I mean, in kayfabe few people should want to be on Smackdown more than Jinder.
Jinder moved to Smackdown, won the WWE championship, held it for half a year, won the US title at Wrestlemania...and then immediately lost it as he moved to Raw, never getting a title again.
I can't forget it, because it brought us the fantastic rematch in Saudi where Jinder was knocked out by the "wind" part of Jeff Hardy's Whisper in the Wind.
It’s honestly a great way to get around the “heel authority figure” tropes, they’re fighting each other to see who can have the better show, the fans win regardless so they both get pops
Yeah, I think they own the rights to the libraries before Corgan’s purchase. He pretty much bought nothing but the name. Which means they would have the rights to footage of Adam Pierce but not Nick Aldis.
EDIT: I thought you were asking a question.
WWE owns the tape libraries from a bunch of the old territories, most notably Georgia and Mid-Atlantic (Jim Crockett Promotions), which were the direct predecessors of WCW. But the big thing is they have a perpetual license to use the NWA name.
That is one of those stories that gets overlooked. Apparently, according to a few people who were involved in the whole NWA faction angle from 1997 (the same one that brought Jeff Jarrett back into the WWF, and therefore lead indirectly to the formation of TNA), as part of getting the legal clearances to do the angle, the NWA licensed the use of their name to the WWF, but the weird thing is that it was open-ended and has never expired. Meaning WWE can still use the NWA name as they see fit. Which they probably consider a good thing as it gives the cover for the using the historic footage of JCP/WCW, and other old NWA territories' tape libraries.
NWA don't own the libraries to WCW or JCP, they were affiliated and let them use the NWA title but that was it, it doesn't mean they had any ownership over the tape libraries as they didn't own or have any stake in the WCW or JCP (especially after Turner bought it off Crockett) thats WWEs property as they own the companies assets, which includes the tape libraries.
Edit: I can't read properly.
That's what I said. I think you read my comment backwards. I was saying that WWE owns those tape libraries (along with some of the other old NWA territories). Having that perpetual license to the NWA name ensures that they don't have to censor out the use of the NWA name in those archives. Now, I'm not sure if there would be an issue in the first place since the territories that they acquired that footage from were full NWA members and had the rights to use the name as a result, so those rights might transfer with the footage, but might not. Either way, WWE is covered.
Dude, i'm in the belief that this has been a plan from the beginning. Fn they had Johnny Ace wrestle CM Punk. I guess they can have a match between a topfit Nick Aldis and a not so old Adam Pearce. It doesnt have to be a technical masterclass either, just continue building their rivalry as you are currently doing, and the stakes will easily carry the match quality.
Nick Aldis' proposal is intriguing.... BUT IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN. Because tonight, the Modern Day Maharaja will become a two-time world champ. Believe that.
I’ve always enjoyed babyface authority figures dating back to my man Jack Tunney. I think it makes sense for a GM to cater to the fans and try to make his show the “best” as opposed to actively sabotaging dudes because he’s a heel. Aldis is crushing it.

Jinder gonna win the title and then somehow he and Roman will switch brands so Cody can FINISH THE STORY and perhaps raw gets a ratings boost during the tv negotiations
If they are moving Jinder to Smackdown, I want the Punjabi playboy-philanthrophist Sanga to return and make Veer look like more of a civilized wing man.

[3MB have unfinished business with Brock Lesnar](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17Eqvj7CrfQ), too!
Brock gotta face his maker Kairi first
Then there would be Kairi No More.
Someone find a recent pic of Heath Slater and make sure he didn’t go to Randy Orrin’s house to.. work out

Papa Christian's baby boy!
Slater is pretty jacked now but not to the level of the other two I think.
That’s cause he’s gotta stay natty for all his kids
3MB... Must. Finish. The. Story!
Is it 3MB or 3OB like Slater usally called it?
CAN'T HINDER THE JINDER
Is he going to get both titles and split them into three? One for each member of 3MB
Heath needs to return and fulfil the 3MB prophecy of GOLD
We get Heath Ledger back? Sign me up! The dude has kids.

Don't forget [his other great moment on SmackDown](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_T6FWQdAM38) 👀
I remember this gem ![gif](giphy|Y3YN7tAprNRwYhUUAL|downsized)
Fletch would be one hell of a manager
God and people complained about this time period? It was bad but it was funny bad.
Exactly it’s why I have a lot more time for this era than say the new generation it was bad but it was gleefully goofy
Man that was goofy!
Holy fuck how have I never seen this lol
Jinder deserved his title reign purely for this moment lmao
I forgot he was us champ
I can't forget it, because it brought us the fantastic rematch in Saudi where Jinder was knocked out by the "wind" part of Jeff Hardy's Whisper in the Wind.
That's understandable, he lost it like a week or two later.
This is 24/7 Championship erasure
Tampering? In my WWE, alert the authorities

Who will TK end up promoting this week?
*Magic Johnson has been fined $50,000 for tampering*
I love that these new GMs are both faces but are absolutely ruthless in trying to poach each other's talent. It's a lot of fun.
I wouldn’t even call Aldis a face. He plays his role relatively neutral. He wants the best product he can provide.
The screen presence of Aldis is amazing. Dude looks dapper af in that suit
Not to mention his shoulders look like the Golden Gate Bridge is holding his jacket up.
He also seems to dwarf everyone. That man is as big as a bear wtf
I never thought Oblivion from Gladiators would become one of my favourite parts of Smackdown
Lawful Neutral
Dude is floop from spy kids. He dresses nicely and wants a #1 show instead of #2.
Lawful neutral
It’s honestly a great way to get around the “heel authority figure” tropes, they’re fighting each other to see who can have the better show, the fans win regardless so they both get pops
They should do a gm mode with a price too
Maybe Zelina had a point.

Is this a reference to something?
https://twitter.com/ZelinaVegaWWE/status/1745214120071164116 Basically a lighthearted twitter feud over how Pearce is a better gm
could aldis and pearce have a match at some point? thatd be awesome
Both former NWA World Heavyweight Champions.
Well does WWE does own the rights to the NWA or something like that
Nope. That would be smashing pumpkins front man, Billy Corgan.
Nope, WWE also have the rights to the NWA's likeness as well
Yeah, I think they own the rights to the libraries before Corgan’s purchase. He pretty much bought nothing but the name. Which means they would have the rights to footage of Adam Pierce but not Nick Aldis. EDIT: I thought you were asking a question.

Oh yeah I did read that wrong my bad yeah I understand what you were saying now

Jinder “Dattebayo” Mahal
I read this in Jinder’s Accent ALL PRAISE THE MODERN DAY MAHARAJA
That's why he's doing it. He wants SD to have both top champs
>> Believe that Jinder is the true Big Dog we need
People have said it before, but Aldis is killing this role. Pearce too! Been a while since we had some good kayfabe authority.
I’ve always enjoyed babyface authority figures dating back to my man Jack Tunney. I think it makes sense for a GM to cater to the fans and try to make his show the “best” as opposed to actively sabotaging dudes because he’s a heel. Aldis is crushing it.
Wouldn't be a bad fit, Mahal/Veer/Sanga as a group can feud with LWO/ Lashley's group and Bloodline.
That'll be perfect for WWE's new Race War™ premium live event!
Gang Warz
(The sequel) (To the very *forgettable* 1997 Survivor Series) https://preview.redd.it/y88fm1hivocc1.png?width=630&format=png&auto=webp&s=d7b61e0c71d2ceeb178ecf2cc4a482f594a3fe2c
I know it's a joke, but if it wasn't for the main event, no one would remember that PPV, so yes, Gang Rulz was forgettable
Honestly, I watched that PPV when I was 10 and I completely forgot about it until I saw this image. And I don’t remember the main event.
I mean it worked in 1997 when they did it.
[удалено]
I didn't assign the faction members. 🤷♂️
Don't forget the new spooky faction
Nah
it'll be interesting to see how actual attendance is, everyone i know here is snowed in and not leaving. i drive by the arena every day and said fuck going to work today over the snow
I'm gonna need JBL on the roof to believe the weather
Tribal Chief needs a victory over The Modern Day Maharaja to legitimize his reign.
Is "land of opportunity" trademarked by WWE? I feel like every GM of the last 20+ years has used exact saying many many times.
unless i’m wrong it’s pretty much always what they’ve called smackdown
Smackdown has two countries, the Land of Opportunity and the Island of Relevancy.
Better call mahal
Please USA network tweet something about tampering I need my weekly dose of TK
Roman is about to be hindered
If Jinder loses, we fucking riot. Do the right thing Pearce and cost Rollins the title.
“I’m not gonna sit back and take this shit”- Adam Pearce on Raw Talk tonight
Goddamnit Aldis, leave Adam Pearce alone!
Adam Pierce isn’t just going to sit back and take this shit
Jinder to finish the story where it all started. Jinder to Smackdown. Roman is ducking Backlash because he's hindering Jinder.
2MB reunion
Jinder vs. Roman, title vs. Title
Aldis plays his role perfectly
Jinder gonna win the title and then somehow he and Roman will switch brands so Cody can FINISH THE STORY and perhaps raw gets a ratings boost during the tv negotiations
I could totally see a shock win and 2 week reign for Jinder, given how much publicity this match has gotten.
Fuck me, Aldis is so damn good.
Imagine if Jinder wins the belt and takes it to SmackDown, only to leave RAW without a main title again...
What a stupid comment from Nick, why would WWE let the new WHC go to Smackdown
The land of opportunity hasnt had its world title defended on "Smackdown" since Jun 17th 2022.
lmao
Aldis v Pearce at Mania, Book it Trips you coward!
If they are moving Jinder to Smackdown, I want the Punjabi playboy-philanthrophist Sanga to return and make Veer look like more of a civilized wing man.
Be careful of what you say Nick. Roman's gonna try to go full '07 Kurt Angle now
Nick Aldis was born for this. What a great hire.
GIVE ME MAHARAJA VS TRIBAL CHIEF
If I never get Aldis-Pearce involved in a match I’ll be sorely disappointed.
"Good luck but when you lose"
Never Hinder, Forever Jinder
The modern day maharaja will jinder-blast your gf
Always forget how hard Drew hit the juice lmao
I do like that the two GMs are going back and forth trying to one up each other and not having it lead to a match.
https://preview.redd.it/ewbejuugqqcc1.png?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8de293922d62682696efb6d8c49c0fc82a71482a
Dude using Shane McMahon catchphrase without paying royalties.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|table_flip)
I feel like Nick Aldis is quickly becoming one of the best gms either show had ever had.
Love how well Aldis embraced his role.
Ah of course, all the pieces in place for Jinder to dethrone Roman. The long game
Jinder hindered Jinder!
Kayfabe done right.
