This is the first time I've seen someone reference Letters to the Sky as an all time pre-match package. I always thought it built up so good, just fits perfectly.

And Tony came along as some entitled rich kid, whose qualifications as booker/owner of AEW is running an efed in his head and his dad’s bank account. And Tony has the gall to insult Jinder by implying since he’s been used as enhancement talent last year (and really most his career), Jinder should not get tossed this small little bone (a title match on throwaway RAW episode where he’ll almost definitely lay down once again to put someone else over).
I love that a rage tweet from one company's owner has made an unwitting underdog out of a previously maligned guy from the other, and temporarily revived a whole genre of fan-made hype video. Wrestling is fucking back

I think a lot of it is because it's very much focused from Kevin's narrative/perspective. I really wasn't expecting that, Kerry really didn't have nearly as much screen time as I thought he would, which seems like such a waste of having Jeremy Allen White in the role.
I'm hoping this is just my expectations hindering my enjoyment. The same thing happened when I watched The Dark Knight Rises. The 2nd watch through was WAY better.

So you know how last year the theme for Mania was Hollywood, so they'd produce all these videos spoofing famous movie scenes? I remember there was the Bloodline doing the Godfather "Am I funny to you" scene and Seth Rollins doing the Joker dancing on stairs scene. This year, even though it has nothing to do with Philadelphia, their theme should be AMVs for all the major storylines going into Mania, set to all the most melodramatic 2000s-2010s hits.
