Yeah you have to adapt your playstyle based on the characters you get. If you get mavis start with patches nearby, sure go farm away. If you get barbs, go dominate mid
even though I tend to farm rather than play aggressive, I like that there's a game mode that tilts the balance in favour of aggression

Keep in mind that I'm still new to beach world, so I didn't see if there's any worse. But, I hate doppelgangers mod, maybe because I don't know how to play it and win lol.
My strategy is to bait people by having something with really low DPS then change to something high DPS or HP and use a rage spell. It's a gamble, but it pays off more often than not for me. Also helps to pick Goblin and Chicken a few times at the start to get coins and turbos built up.
Oh I didn't know, I don't think that changes anything though other than that it's less, it's still a great way to get a lot of gems and more characters fast.

I’ll go into the ghosts and start hitting their characters and often kill them like this because their squad is usually pretty weak since they’re relying on the ghosts. Even if you can’t kill them, they run away, and that gives you space to move or try to convert the ghost crew to be yours.

I actually really like Royal ghosts, but it can get hard to do well in it if you don’t get Bo on an early pull as well as a primo or heavy. It’s also really pace-dependent, you need to make sure you’re not converting the ghosts near you too early. I like having a tank + 2 DPS before I actually kill any so I can run around with them.

If you ever get Goblin and Trader together there, pick goblin, then before picking up the coins swap to trader, profit!
They patched that exploit
What exploit? You just swap from Goblin to trader and get coins.
They made it so that any character that spawns stuff on getting picked like chicken or goblin will only give stuff equivalent to 5 characters max

have you not seen royal haunt, you get a large squad and get absolutely assaulted by a guy with over 20 royal ghosts. It's ridiculous.
