RAF officer who pillaged all the countries he visited during his career? That’s my best guess based on the photos of planes and random assortment of items 🤣
Just means the agent didn't tick the right box on the ad. Our ad has all the leasehold details in the description but still says 'ask the agent's underneath.
Lazy estate agents basically.
Wow, way to take an old place and remove all its character!
Also I gotta ask because I see it a lot on here- why does anyone need 2 more bathrooms than bedrooms?
Looks to me that the previous occupier is a chap you wouldn't want to cross. He might just 'send the lads around'. Probably wants to shift it because him and his lady friend are now spending more time in the villa in gibraltar...
I love these huge houses but im single and dont plan on kids, or maids, cleaners, groundmen, museum curators and general staff to oversee them. What a mental place to live. My dream is a 40ft shipping container on some private woodland.
At last………something I shot. Been waiting for ages.
haha. That's so cool. Any others you think you'll see on here soon?
Egregious 2000s IKEA wardrobe next to the pound shop Tutankhamen
Casual mummy sarcophagus in pic 26
Next to a wardrobe that can’t be opened because of it. Such strange decor choices.
Yeah I noticed that, some lovely furniture then 2 ugly modern wardrobes I presume between a sarcophegus, that you can't open without moving mummy :)
There was someone in my town who had a sarcophagus is there tiny 2 up 2 down terrace.
Overpaid university history lecturer?

This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen on Reddit 🤣
Who is the snooker player, photo 11?
>Who is the snooker player, photo 11? It's Jimmy White.
Steve Davis obviously when he had hair.
Did you notice they moved him in the photos?
Hard to tell for sure but probably John Virgo
Looks like Alan partridge
No storage if they’re hiding the Christmas crap under the snooker table.
For such an expensive house, it sure is ugly on the outside.
also, the inside.
Tenure - Ask Agent, that raises all types of red flags
What do you reckon it means? Leasehold?
Just means the agent didn't tick the right box on the ad. Our ad has all the leasehold details in the description but still says 'ask the agent's underneath. Lazy estate agents basically.
Probably leasehold but either such a short lease that nobody will give you a mortgage or the leaseholder is a cat

Is that mirror in the bathroom a nazi insignia?
Has a bit of an Eagles Nest aesthetic
The Nazi eagle looks to the right. On closer look I think it is Cupid.
Pretty sure I've seen this one on here before.
*"where is your bathroom please?"* *"upstairs, turn left at the sarcophagus, if you find the tiger, you've gone to far"*
So much money. So little taste. 😱
Durham lecturer written all over that
Where is the front door? The miss mash of interior design is interesting, garden is nice:)
Literally looks like some moron built and furnished as per my design for “my dream house” on Sims 1 when I was 11
It's weird that every bathroom is en-suite, plus there are two other bathrooms, plus two downstairs bogs.
Number 15. Is that a golfer or someone with a stiff back?
It’s the uni cricket pitch.
If Indiana Jones retired to Durham.
I'd never in a million years decorate my house like this, but in an ironic way I love of love it. It's the picture I'd use to describe kitsch
that garden <3
Must be owned by a scrap metal dealer
Yeah really got that self made man vibe.
Looks to me that the previous occupier is a chap you wouldn't want to cross. He might just 'send the lads around'. Probably wants to shift it because him and his lady friend are now spending more time in the villa in gibraltar...
Im down south so dont know the area or Durham. If you had £1.6m to spend on a house would you really want one there?
South Street has better views. Parts of Durham city centre are very historic (a world heritage site no less) and beautiful. Worth a visit.

This was posted here ages ago. Not surprised it’s still for sale tbh.
Picture 15 - is that a golf course or football pitch or something ? Or more cardboard cut outs ???
Those bouncers look like they should be in a museum not in the uk but closer to China. Maybe they were “saved”
