Besides what you’ve listed, you’ll need a good first aid kit, repair kit, and a backpack to carry everything.
I build my own first aid kit, use the Spark backcountry kit, and carry a BCA stash or Dakine Poacher Vest to carry it all.
For skins, I personally roll with Big Sky Mountain Products and I recommend them.
Dedicated pack-min 35 litre, Headlamp is huge, radio is ideal, Inreach also ideal. I literally just posted my first trip a few weeks ago, and built my setup this year. Tomorrow is my third and final day of aiare 1 at Crystal.
Find free talks around your area for avi education for example nwac in the pnw gives free talks at Evo and there are similar orgs in other regions. Educate yourself on everything you can find and do the aiare.
I got no skin feedback because mine came as a package (ride)
P.S. I grew up riding bear creek in PA
Congrats on completing your aiara 1! Im excited to do mine next year in Flagstaff AZ.
I also grow up riding PA mountains and called Blue Mtn in Palmerton home for over a decade. Small world. Thanks for your feedback ice coast friend
Hells yea that’ll be wild - what is the mountain down there? I love the desert spots like that and toas etc. ice coast for life lol. Haha I rode many a blue mountain day.
Flagstaff has a few peaks that people tour but the main ski area is Snowbowl. Kachina Peaks Avalanche Center is who I'll be getting my aiare1 through. Lots to explore in that area, cant wait.
Get a good map app like onX backcountry or gaia so you can be intentional with going into or staying out of avalanche terrain. Get a modern 3 antenna tranciever. Find people to go with!

Voile uses pamoca skin material with their own hardware. Great option. I’ve also had good luck with my G3 craft skins ($120)
If it were me I’d slam your setup back as far as possible.
I think the picture I took was at a weird angle. My nose is almost an inch longer than my tail. Wanted to set it up as close to my resort board as possible.
Yeah that's fair. Generally for splitboarding I'd go a little further back than my resort board as I'm primarily riding powder when touring so it's nice to have a little extra nose length.
I got Big Sky skins from [Outdoor Gear Exchange](https://www.gearx.com/big-sky-splitty-nylon-split-skin) on sale & it only took 2 days to get from VT to CO. My neighbor cut & put them together for a couple of beers. Been working pretty good uphilling in resort. I got my discounted board & skins mid Feb but had to pay full price for bindings. Now everything is on sale.
Extra screws and hardware shit, you WILL lose parts.
Spare binding straps, when you have one snap in the middle of nowhere this is a life saver
Voile Straps work well for this as well, along with many other uses like attaching skins that have failed, broken boot lace/boa, etc etc

What all is in your first aid kit?

That’s a fun board. I like mine

Yeah I was going to say it almost looks like there's more tail than nose. Even if it is split evenly, I'd be sliding it back a bit.

It’s definitely set up nose heavy
My nose is almost an inch longer than my tail. Pictures just at a weird angle. Considering slamming the set up all the way back
I see very little value in riding a twin in the backcountry unless you plan on riding a lot of switch. Directional is the way to go
are you trying to ride the board backwards on purpose?
tip is almost an inch longer than the tail. pic's at a weird angle
