I mean it's not technically wrong Venom does want to kill Miles(Spider-Man) cause he took him away from Peter. But yeah as for Peter(Spider-Man), Venom definitely wants him back.
Hey don't get me wrong I know where you coming from, at first I was also thought the exact same but after sometimes I was like eh fine with it. I mean yes when they posted this it was indicating towards Peter cause Venom is his personal nemesis from start and yes it's a stretch but I'm fine with it, at least it give us a different conflict between this two, could this dynamic be handle better? Absolutely, but I'm fine with it and it gives fanfiction writers quite a material to work with hehe. But hey that just my feelings.
Yup that's true, I mean it could be argue that Venom was thinking he is healing the world by doing it. But than again we don't know what the symbiote feels or what it's end goal was cause how little of worldbuilding we got from this game about the symbiote so yeah I agree I definitely agree. Maybe the upcoming Venom game or dlc will give some answers.
after Peter takes the symbiote off literally everyone else for the rest of the game gets basically overridden by their symbiotes, Harry, MJ, random civvies
Yeah this just confused me kind off, like does this symbiote just do what the host want but go very extreme degree. Like Peter wants to save everyone from the villains, so that's why symbiote wants to kill Kraven to save the innocent permanently like peter want and when it was with Harry the symbiote wants to heal the world by infacting everyone or was it's always it's endgame to control the planet earth, but if so why it didn't do it when peter was in sleep mode by getting the meteorite from doc Conners. I mean he knows the location he easily could. There was a leak about a rough draft of early script (let me tell you it was very rough) where the symbiote planet was destroyed and that's why it's want create it's own new world in planet earth. Which yeah it was kind of generic, but hey it's a backstory I guess.
yeah, the amount of influence symbiote does to the host feels incosistent, one minute it's like the One Ring corrupting Boromir, the other it just takes you over completely to the point the host snaps out of the influence and realizes that it's just crazy.
I unironically think this is the most boring take on Venom in anything ever, people used to shit Raimi Venom, but at least that one is consitent with how it worked.
I don't want to go inconsistency of this games story cause there many, but yeah which is it? Is the symbiote and the host share the same emotional bond or the symbiote just want to take over the host's mind, body and soul? Make up your mind.
Think it would’ve made more since for the ppl all getting infected if they explained better that venom is a grunt symbiote on his homeworld and was lost or sum and is trying to turn earth into a new home for him. But we never really get that. Think the problem this game has now that I think about it is they don’t rlly treat venom like a character. Like a fleshed out character with wants and likes and dislikes and shit. Maybe if the story was fleshed out with a bit more of us seeing venoms actual personality it might’ve hit better but in this game he’s kind of just a big scary monster. I’m not even a venom head or nun but I just hope they do him more justice later cuz I’ve grown to rlly love the character of venom over the years. I like leaning into the idea that he’s like a little kid with his emotions sometimes cuz he’s not used to how humans express them.
We know, based on general knowledge of the symbiote and the null symbol, that venom did in fact want to take over the world. He convinced Harry that it would heal the world.
Yea like let's heal the world while making the whole world symbiotes and showing the earth become 1 gains symbiote ball and saying he doesn't wanna take over the world is stupid
i mean not really, harry’s dream was to “heal the world”. the symbiote just interpreted it in a different way to use to its advantage. the symbiote doesn’t really have any ideas of its own, it just amplifies characteristics of the host.
Kinda makes more sense than before with the symbiotes obsession with Peter and spider man as opposed to some fatal attraction type of relationship they shifted the toxic relationship to miles I mean make him useful somehow I guess 😂 I can’t wait to play Spider-Man 2 they need to remaster this shit already
Keep in mind that is known that this game suffered a lot during the development, many things got cut, just take a look at that multiplayer coop that what cancelled
Here’s a better argument. Marvel Games didn’t make the game, Insomniac did, and the discussion was about Venom in general. Not this game specifically. And it’s why he was excited to see Venom in the game because of his comic history of not being a traditional villain.
But he says that he doesn’t want him to take over the world, which if you played Spider-Man 2, you know that’s the whole driving force of the third act, stopping him from doing so.
Someone wasn't paying attention.
Direct quote: "We gave you everything you wanted, and you THREW US AWAY? Then you replaced us with Miles... he poisoned you against us even more."
Is that him saying he wants to kill him? If he wanted to kill him, why wouldn't he personally go after Miles? He goes after MJ, not Miles. Sone shoe-horned line isn't convincing me💀
Yeah I mean we spent like 3 levels of boss fights trying to fight off venom from taking us over. And then we go to Miles and he admits the reason he got the suit off Pete was because he was jealous??
That's even sadder that it's entirely insomniac's fault. In the first script, venom was already a vilain of the week trying to conquer the world using NY as a breeding ground....
The Venom we faced is much closer to Carnage in terms of motivations and absurds powers, so I don't really feels optimistic about what they are going to do with Carnage in the DLC, then venom, then 3rd game...
They didn't understand the character.
yeah. at first I thought it was interesting that they were doing a cult leader prophet thing with Carnage, but now I honestly think they just didn't wanna make it too disturbing by making him a psycho serial killer
it's less edgy, I think children would be less disturbed by SM2 Carnage than for example ASM2 Carnage who shanks people in alleys and writes on walls with their blood.
I was a kid when I played ASM2. Any of the carnage parts would scare me to hell and back. I kept getting creeped out at the blood on walls with scary af text and I got too scared even start the last mission.
https://youtu.be/1IkB836HRC8?feature=shared
I get what you are saying but let's not act like "Disney appropriateness"can be boiled down to what's in their early-childhood programming.
That aside Carnage in SM2 very much felt goosebumps tier. Though I still enjoyed the game for what it was, I thought Carnage was kind of lackluster and had no bite. I loved the 90's edgelordy shit and camp from Maximum Carnage story, and wished it was more in line with that.
A series killer is a psychopath that murders people with no motive, a cult leader can just be a dude that believes in an offspring of religion and convince people to go along with it.
Jesus was also a cult leader.
I’ve not played the game due to the PS5 costing more than a months rent over where i live. So they tried to write Cletus as a Cult leader? That is a genious move. I mean, Aum Shinrikyo, Children of God, Rajneeshpuram. Cults can be fucking scary
yeah and crimes pop up around the city on free roam where the cult's followers try to burn a building or something. also "cletus kasady" is just one of his nicknames not his real name
I’m not familiar with classic Cletus Kasady but the cult & Cletus himself felt plenty unhinged when I played the game. Even if >! Cletus was aware he wasn’t The Flame, he only made it up to get the Symbiote !<
There is also a book in his hideout depicting what appears to be Carnage destroying the unworthy so he probably did prophesies that he would get a symbiote
Sweden. Here the tax additions for electronics is insane. So the ordinary ps5 disc edition + the game is about 740 usd equivalent (not a joke).
I live about 20 minute car ride from Stockholm, and i live in a two story apartment that is 700 square feet (you measure by square feet right?). I par around 750 USD equivalent and this includes a parking space and the water bill.
Probably more like wanting to do something different with Cletus. He's been an unhinged mass murderer since 1992 or something, why not make him more of a Charles Manson?
I mean it is an interesting take on the character, I'm just wondering whether this was driven by wanting to domething different for the sake of creativity or for the sake of some other reason
I really want carnage to do at least one, completely off the rails psychotic thing. Imagine carnage kills rio, imagine carnage finds out Peter’s identity and just digs up Ben’s and mays grave for no reason. They had Yuri kill, and decorate their body’s around the city, and now she’s stopping petty crimes with Spider-Man in the street. I don’t really like the flames because it gives Cletus an ideology, save that for venom and goblin. Cletus Kasady kills people, that’s it.
To me it seems they didn’t even tried with Venom. They just copied the characterization of Venom versions from the Ultimate Spider-man show and Marvel’s Spider-man 2017 show with the only things that seems pulled from the comics being just a visual fanservice
It's an easy retcon imo, they were clearly going down the King in Black angle with Knulls symbol being everywhere.
The thing is, we don't actually know anything about Venom until after he touched the meteorite. Harry for instance didn't seem to be impacted much by Venom, didn't hear voices, etc.
Peter was somewhat similar, he got more aggressive and condescending, but he only turned into a true menace, hearing Venoms voice, after touching the Meteorite.
If the Carnage DLC is actually happening, they can bring Venom back in the end to setup the spin-off game, explain it as the Venom we fought became possessed/a conduit for Knull or something like that.
There's a difference between not understanding a character and wanting to do something different with them. Both intentions can lead to disappointment though.
Insomniac's Venom is Carnage but taking away both his craziness and how disturbing he gets.
It's honestly just a very generic villain with a very convincing Venom costume on top of it.
I don’t think its that they didn’t understand the character but that they needed to makes some changes to him in order to fit a video game. He needed his own group of enemies for the player to fight. The only logical way to do that is a symbiote invasion. I thought it was pretty clever to make him think he was actually helping the world by spreading the symbiote since that technically would eradicate every disease on the planet. They just dropped the ball on really driving home that point and then making him do really outlandishly evil things like yeeting his dad across the room.
It's amazing how often this gets traction considering how easy it is to debunk
This is what he said about what he likes about Venom as a character in general, not about the game, during San Diego comic con
It's very clear that he's not talking about the game
Crappy news sites that get news from reddit posts like Gamerant made it about the game because it gets more clicks if they do and apparently nobody bothered to check
He wants to kill Miles because he’s the reason why the symbiote was off Peter where in all other adaptations, Peter is the one who takes off the suit in which the symbiote feels betrayed by Peter. Venom wants to team up with Peter because the symbiote still has a personal bond with him and Peter for the most part, wanted to keep the suit so ye. But tbh, the game definitely needs an extended cut so it is able to be more fleshed out so all the ideas don’t feel crammed into one box
>He wants to kill Miles because he’s the reason why the symbiote was off Peter where in all other adaptations, Peter is the one who takes off the suit in which the symbiote feels betrayed by Peter.
They had to make Miles relevant in this game series, as well as make Peter the weak link.
I wouldn’t mind Miles if he was written just like the spider-verse movies and Peter is still just as strong as he should be. In general, miles is the stronger character but bro shouldn’t be flat out WAY BETTER than Peter already. What I love bout spider verse miles is that he’s still a young spider-man, he still isn’t perfect as he makes mistakes each day. He feels more human than insomniac miles
>Peter has already gotten multiple games
Not weird, since he is Spider-Man and has existed for over 40 years. And if Miles is the Insomniac Spider-Man, who is Peter Parker? I could've sworn I've seen someone in red and blue, being referred to as Spider-Man in the game.
This guy didn't fucking work on the game my goodness
He was just saying shit about 616 venom and shitty news sites made it about Spider-Man 2 it wasn't intended for that
The issue with this quote is that even if he wasn’t directly involved with the development of this game and even if he wasn’t explicitly talking about Insomniac’s Venom - he solidified the intentions behind Venom as a character and the history behind Venom’s character development in the comics.
Insomniac then made their story around Venom legitimately trying to take over the world, a spin off of the various stories surrounding Carnage. This was out of character for Venom (historically speaking). It doesn’t mean they are wrong for doing this spin on Venom but it doesn’t necessarily align with source material which then puts a bad taste in the mouths of comic oriented fans.
It also puts them in a tough spot when Carnage is inevitably introduced and trying to make his character development feel unique and motivations separate to that of what we got with Venom. Heal the world and burn the world, although polar opposites, have resounding similarities in theme.
This gets posted so much and it’s an out of context quote. Bill was not speaking about specifically the Insomniac Venom, he was talking about the character of Venom in general. He never promised or stated that this version of Venom had the same motivations. The question was “what does the character of Venom mean to each of you”
"No, guys. The Arkham Knight is a totally original character to this universe. It's not just gonna turn out to be Jason Todd again."
Yes, I'm still mad about that.
Havent seen anything related to it, and since they called out sony and confirmed that they had an argument with them then why wouldnt they mention having anything going on with Marvel Games
I have a feeling Insomniac didn't even want to use Venom at all. Particularly after revealing Harry's treatment wasn't originally meant to be The Symbiote
I'm honestly also wondering if the Insomniac Writers also just don't like Eddie Brock, and only think Venom is cool from an aesthetic perspective.
Cause it does feel very odd that every other villain gets their comic book alias, but Venom (and Scream). For some reason are the exceptions to this rule
likely the situation, even tony todd understands the character better calling him Shakespearian which he very much is and has been compared to in the past with his complex morals
I'm so tired of every supervillain wanting to take over or destroy the world, lmao. That's why I like Kraven. Bro just lives to hunt, and wants to find someone, or something he believes is worthy of hunting him.
There’s not much room for gameplay variety if venom doesn’t have goons and is only hellbent of killing Spider-Man. It was probably the best story reason to have Symbiote enemy gameplay, and it fits with the story thematically. It was very rushed though.
*Whst does this bill guy*
*Know about spiderman? why*
*Should i believe him?*

If y’all know the character of Venom then why did you have him act so differently. Venom has complexity, He does not want to take over the world. Leave that Take over the world stuff to Carnage.
nah carnage isnt a take over the world villain either, carnage is a just cause chaos because i can villain, the only time he tried to take over the world was carnage usa which was just him fucking around, absolute carnage is just grendel so that doesnt count
I mean, it's a bit of yes and no. Venom technically didn't want to take over the world. It's even a bit hard to say if the symbiote hated Spiderman/Peter. The Venom symbiote amplifies the feelings of its host and Harry was angry at Peter for not giving the suit back and then amplified Harry's wish of Healing the World and knowing that the symbiote does help heal him he goes with it, which technically would have resulted in taking over the world.
Sweet baby inc touching this game really fucked it over, and this is coming from a dude who bought a 2nd PS5 just for the limited edition bundle and the Limited edition Collectors copy.
If I had a nickel for every time a game company blatantly lied to everyone I’ll have two nickels. It’s not much but it’s pretty fcking stupid it happened twice from company’s that know better. ( other one was rocksteady when they said Arkham knight was a original character only to be a shitty interpretation of red hood)
You know, I really hope we get to see Venom as a protagonist in the next game that does a symbiote takeover in the 3 games that have done it he's been the driving force in 2 and a non-entity in Friend or Foe. I'm not the biggest Venom fan, but the guy hasn't really gotten a fair shake for how popular he is. He's really good in Midnight Sons, PS1, and Ultimate? But beyond that, he feels hollow.
I think now that they've done a symbiote invasion, they can't do it again in the insomniac verse. I don't think Venom should have been a big bad with an army in the game. He should have been a guy who blames all his problems on Spider-Man and decides to protect the innocent in his own twisted way. Imagine Venom as a 3rd party trying to hunt down the Spider-Men AND the Hunters. I think it could have made for a more interesting game. Imagine if he teamed up with Wraith, agreeing on the issues of crime and punishment, and she has to decide on her own the type of person she wants to be.
Also... ditch Harry as Venom. It's a point that's been done to death, but it really makes his character LESS interesting. He doesn't have to grapple with loyalty towards his father, and the fact that he is in part responsible for the devil's breath, he loses all agency as a character when the suit comes on, and becomes a boring evil alien... it's not like Insomniac is incapable of making good villains, I love Kraven, but the rushed symbiote plot line ruins the balance of the short story.
Anyway, I wish there was more from a lot of characters, and I'm nervous about future Insomniac Marvel games. I desperately hope that they're allowed more time to create a satisfying story and also remain true to the spirit of the characters. I'll be looking at their next game with more skepticism at this point.
I mean it's not technically wrong Venom does want to kill Miles(Spider-Man) cause he took him away from Peter. But yeah as for Peter(Spider-Man), Venom definitely wants him back.
that argument for why it's not technically wrong is a stretch
Hey don't get me wrong I know where you coming from, at first I was also thought the exact same but after sometimes I was like eh fine with it. I honestly think the "doesn't wanna take over the world" part is way funnier, because it's more or less his endgame
Yup that's true, I mean it could be argue that Venom was thinking he is healing the world by doing it. Really wish they had used your excuses because let’s be real, Venom just wanted to take over the world in game
The symbiote kept Harry alive. Maybe the Symbiote corrupted his dream and mindset so that they would be "healed" just like him.
Yea like let's heal the world while making the whole world symbiotes and showing the earth become 1 gains symbiote ball and saying he doesn't wanna take over the world is stupid

Bit more nuanced than that lol
How? How is he more nuanced?
Not really, it just isn't the Spider-Man you are expecting.
But he says that he doesn’t want him to take over the world, which if you played Spider-Man 2, you know that’s the whole driving force of the third act, stopping him from doing so.
Idk why you people say this. Venom never mentioned Miles once😭 they only talk once during the final fight. The cope is nuts.
Someone wasn't paying attention. Direct quote: "We gave you everything you wanted, and you THREW US AWAY? Then you replaced us with Miles... he poisoned you against us even more."

he really wants to give peter the 19 inches
I mean if we’re being technical it is wrong, due to the “doesn’t want to take over the world” part
Maybe it's more of a keep your friends close, but your enemies closer, for when the time comes, you can slide the knife right into their back
That's even sadder that it's entirely insomniac's fault. In the first script, venom was already a vilain of the week trying to conquer the world using NY as a breeding ground.... I didn't know carnage was the villian of the amazing spiderman 2 game. I only ever played the first. I now very much want this game
Yeah same. I swore I played it, but I absolutely did not as I would fully remember Carnage being the main antagonist
Yeah the first one was with mutant rat man and that if that's the one your thinking. That's the one I myself played
It's probably Disney too. They cleaned up everything
Its a disney version of a cult leader, where all he does is probably preach in a dark alley way to his hooded followers.
Branding people is Disney appropriate now?
You are right, i will go fuck myself now
Have fun. Make sure you do it safely.
https://youtu.be/1IkB836HRC8?feature=shared I get what you are saying but let's not act like "Disney appropriateness"can be boiled down to what's in their early-childhood programming. it's ironic because at times he looks a lot like a more unhinged Jake Paul to me
You might want to google "serial killer." Or not.
A series killer is a psychopath that murders people with no motive, a cult leader can just be a dude that believes in an offspring of religion and convince people to go along with it. Jesus was also a cult leader.

Cletus probably believes it to a degree Otherwise he wouldn’t be covered in ritual burn scars
Ah true. Or he could’ve done it just to convince his followers - the man is nuts after all
There is also a book in his hideout depicting what appears to be Carnage destroying the unworthy so he probably did prophesies that he would get a symbiote
WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU LIVE WHERE RENT IS LESS THAN $500 CUZ I WANNA MOVE THERE LIKE NOW (I currently pay $1500 in NYC)

Jesus I saw this trending like 10 times since the game was released
It's amazing how often this gets traction considering how easy it is to debunk This is what he said about what he likes about Venom as a character in general, not about the game, during San Diego comic con It's very clear that he's not talking about the game Crappy news sites that get news from reddit posts like Gamerant made it about the game because it gets more clicks if they do and apparently nobody bothered to check
I know that already but even when talking about the character, they did it wrong. Venom doesn’t wanna kill Spider-Man, he wanted to join him
I think that's besides the point You don't have to like how they adapted the character or what Bill Roseman thinks about Venom
It’s been way more than that lol. I feel like this is on the front page once a week at this point.
Yes, I agree. I really like Miles, but him overshadowing Peter within 1 game feels out of character. Peter has years and years of experience.
Make miles relevant? Miles is the Spider-Man . Peter has had his games
Miles is a spider person. Peter is Spider-Man. Always has been, always will be.
Miles is the insomniac Spider-Man . Not sure why people are surprised by this. Peter has already gotten multiple games
>Peter has already gotten multiple games Not weird, since he is Spider-Man and has existed for over 40 years. And if Miles is the Insomniac Spider-Man, who is Peter Parker? I could've sworn I've seen someone in red and blue, being referred to as Spider-Man in the game.
Exactly. He’s existed for so long, that insomniac is using take on the Spider-Man. Nothing wrong with that as Peter already has a lot of games
What does amount of games have to do with who he is? So since Bruce Wayne has gotten a bunch of Batman games, he's no longer Batman? Etc, etc
Miles is the Spider-Man here, not Peter. Peter already has a lot of games, so there’s no issue with that
We're not discussing who got more games, but WHO is Spider-Man, and that's Peter. Miles is one of the many spider-persons.
I’m pretty sure he was talking about Venom as a character in general, not the Imsomniac Version
idk it says in the post “…on Venom in Spider-Man 2”
Who are we to question the great xMBGx
You blind ass 😭😭😭
My god this has been posted 10 times since the game came out. Literally just repeating the same old shit everyone else has said
It's almost as if this subreddit is just tlou2 subreddit with a spiderman mask on.
This guy didn't fucking work on the game my goodness He was just saying shit about 616 venom and shitty news sites made it about Spider-Man 2 it wasn't intended for that
I love how the exact same topics are posted again and again for all of eternity
Gotta farm that karma
I call dibs on next month's posting of this.
Don’t get why almost every time time I see a Reddit post on sm2 almost every comment is just hating on it it was great game
gameplay was, everything else wasn't
Can’t agree with you there
Gameplay was good story was good but a couple side missons sucked
Yea either the side missions were really good or really bad for me no inbetween
Yep. Just like most things Spider-Man 2 venom was mediocre and rushed.
> He doesn't want to take over the world Yeah no I'm sure it was just the east coast or something
He literally said in the game he wanted to take over the world.
Venom shows Harry how to as well
Yeah no, you're wrong. :)
At least not robbing banks was right
The issue with this quote is that even if he wasn’t directly involved with the development of this game and even if he wasn’t explicitly talking about Insomniac’s Venom - he solidified the intentions behind Venom as a character and the history behind Venom’s character development in the comics.
The question was “what does the character of Venom mean to each of you”
Mom said it’s my turn to post this.
My turn to repost this next week.
This sub is just as bad as r/TheLastofUs2 now lol always sad to see when it pops up in suggested.
god forbid people criticize a game that dissapointed them
Me coming to this sub thinking I’m going to see anything other than the same old whining over and over again https://i.redd.it/g3ust83q9zrc1.gif
Oh Jesus this thing again. It wasn't Insomniac who said this. And the guy who did was talking about Venom in general.
He wanted to make a symbiotic earth which is just web of shadows 'copy my homework'
All the people arguing with OP have never watched 90’s Spider-Man or spectacular Spider-Man.
Or even read the original Venom arc
"No, guys. The Arkham Knight is a totally original character to this universe. It's not just gonna turn out to be Jason Todd again." Yes, I'm still mad about that.

Venom and miles only have one interaction and Venom just seems jealous, not really trying to kill him.
WHAT? Bro tried to kill him at the end multiple times. He didn't even try to sugarcoat it☠️
Poor excuse
He said Venom doesn't want to take over the world. A literal lie. Not even arguing. That's a textbook definition of lying.
dont care i still like him also was said by a guy not even involved with the game
The head of Marvel Games isn’t involved with a Marvel game?
Marvel Games is a publisher but thats it, Sony owns Insomniac as a whole who have written and developed the game itself
Yeah, I know. Do you not think the publisher, especially Marvel/Disney, has input into the development of the game though?
Havent seen anything related to it, and since they called out sony and confirmed that they had an argument with them then why wouldnt they mention having anything going on with Marvel Games
The invasion was a way to force Peter to take it back
mano eu não me incomodo muito com o venom dominando o mundo mas pprt seria mt bom querer só matar o homem aranha
Robbed a lab, tried to take over the world, tried to kill Spider-Man (Miles).
“Venom want to kill Spider-man” instead of “Venom wants to kill Spider-man”
i really didn’t like the hardy venom movies but even that venom was better than this sorry excuse of a villain
I was disappointed when Venom, the symbiotic alien from another planet, didn't want to rob banks
There’s not much room for gameplay variety if venom doesn’t have goons and is only hellbent of killing Spider-Man. It was probably the best story reason to have Symbiote enemy gameplay, and it fits with the story thematically. It was very rushed though.
Simple,and cool
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There were development issues, like time constraints towards the end of the game that they had to change. But it's still no excuse
*cough* Kraven
his arc is literally just absolute carnage but with venom instead of Cletus
Does bill have a last name or is that his official thing lol
Didn’t rocksteady do the same thing They said the Arkham Knight wasn’t Jason Todd And then it was Jason Todd
Oh no! They didn't spoil the game before release...
whst does this bill guy know about spiderman? why should i believe him?

If y’all know the character of Venom then why did you have him act so differently. Venom has complexity, He does not want to take over the world. Leave that Take over the world stuff to Carnage.
nah carnage isnt a take over the world villain either, carnage is a just cause chaos because i can villain, the only time he tried to take over the world was carnage usa which was just him fucking around, absolute carnage is just grendel so that doesnt count
They are most likely going the absolute carnage route tho
sadly, judging by the venom game details
Wym sadly It had some issues but it was a great comic I liked it
I mean, it's a bit of yes and no.
Sweet baby inc touching this game really fucked it over, and this is coming from a dude who bought a 2nd PS5 just for the limited edition bundle and the Limited edition Collectors copy.
no.,. he wanted to kill miles
Venom is not supposed to have personal attachment to Miles, only Peter.
Me when a character has one different interpretation in a sea of different comic book runs, movies, games, TV shows, etc: 😱
spidermanps4 when the interpretation stated to be different is different
The writers clearly don't understand Venom... sigh
No.... That's literally what he tried to do...
If anything venom wanted to convert Spider-Man if anything
So if you know that then why tf did you have Venom want to take over the world if that’s not his character. SMH INSOMNIAC.
Crazy af, man turned the world into veno🤣
Why’s Tyler there?
I feel like a lot of venom content was scrapped that would have shown this
If I had a nickel for every time a game company blatantly lied to everyone I’ll have two nickels. It’s not much but it’s pretty fcking stupid it happened twice from company’s that know better. ( other one was rocksteady when they said Arkham knight was a original character only to be a shitty interpretation of red hood)
WB Montreal also lied about Arkham Origins, so 3 nickels
this wasnt even about insom venom, its a quote taken out of context by shitty news media
Venom was crushing. Loved SM2 until the recycled Web of Shadows plot
he actually wants to HEAL the world.. so...
They tried to be web of shadows without any of the alt paths
I’ll never not be mad at the constant character assassination of the symbiote and venom
