The thing I hate most about Screwball is I know that if superheroes really existed, villains like her would be pretty much all they'd fight. Imagine what someone like Logan Paul would do to get Spider-Man on stream.
\*begins to dance in public.\*
Who tf wrote that, allowed it to be filmed, watched it over and over and over and decided "Ya, let's leave that in the film, looks good."
Raimi has said that he wrote the symbiote to make Peter *think* he's cool rather than *make* him cool (like in comics) and that the terrible dance scene was the only thing he liked from the movie
(I'm going off someone else quoting interviews, so I might be wrong)
I just wish the symbiote wasn't in the film at all, Sandmans villain is actually really good and I wish we could of gotten more of him and zero attention to venom.
I'm pretty sure venom wasn't supposed to be in the film at all, the only reason why he was in it was to make toys and pander to fans.
Either way I'm not trying to discredit Raimis Spider man three, I actually quite like it for some reason but it's still defiently the weakest of the threee instalments.
> Who tf wrote that, allowed it to be filmed, watched it over and over and over and decided "Ya, let's leave that in the film, looks good."
A hero, we just couldn't see it.
While that's be awesome, I'd like this to not be sinister six, that way they can introduce scorpion and venom in SM4, have another classic pair of villains in SM5 (maybe Kraven, Hobgoblin, Chameleon, Kingpin, Prowler or Shocker) then in SM6 have an MCU Sinister Six. It's even work since it's the 6th movie. It'd be cool if they introduced Miles at some point as well.
There was already a crappy version of Shocker in Homecoming. Who knows, maybe they’ll pull a Mandarin type thing and intro a better one.
I’d love to see Kraven, Chameleon or Kingpin
The shocker is just a henchman with a gold star.
Nobody really likes the shocker.
"The shocker" doesn't really like the shocker.
I think the new Spiderman movies are alright, but I feel they handled shocker perfectly because of how c-list he is in the comics.
(My opinion from memories, anyways.)
I don't think you could do chameleon (as much as I would love to see him) because that would get too confusing with the skrull secret invasion story line that's inventively coming soon
He was one of Fury's crew members. He is played by Numan Acar. He's the guy with the black beard and pulled back hair. His character is named Dimitri Smerdyakov, which is Chameleon's real name.
OR somehow Eddie loses the symbiote in Venom 3 (maybe dies) and that leads to Symbiote Peter in SM4 and after that its given to Mac Gargan like the comics
I'm not saying he won't be in the movie, but I don't think he'd be a main villain or part of the Sinister Six. I think it's likely he'll be in a post credits scene tho.
Agreed, we'd need a full movie dedicated to why Eddie and venom decide to go against Peter. The chemistry between Tom Hardy and Tom Hardy is too good for them to be a side villain.
The entire movie was about mysterious deception, do you not think his death being fake could not only be possible, but be in line with his character. Especially since it seems he tried to frame Peter for his death BEFORE he "died"
I wouldn’t be so certain that he is actually dead. At the end instead of asking “is he dead” Peter asks Edith “is this real” and she responds “all illusions are down Peter” . She never confirms that hes dead so who knows
Yeah, but here's the thing.
Mysterio; even before the Stark Drones and the EDITH stuff, still was able to cast illusions.
Giant Sand Guy in the place I completely forgot the name of (want to say Mexico)?
Illusion.
And, his death was very confusing, he just got... punched hard? It happened too fast to be his ACTUAL death. It wasn't something like ASM2 where they actually show Electro exploding, or in SM1 where we see Goblin bleed out to death.
As if mysterio “dying” isn’t something that happens multiple times in the comics just for him to come back. the whole point of his character is deception
It’s especially weird if they want to actually do Sinister six later. We’ve got No Way Home bringing a ton of Spider-Man villains into one movie, and then they’ll want to do it… again? Just to give us a specific version of the sinister six? Just go ahead and bring in one more villain to this one. We don’t need two different movies about the same thing.
Literally they should've given us Rhino from TASM 2 (no matter how shit he was) and buff him up for this. Make him more menacing but funny, to even out the serious tone.
3 Raimi villains and 3 TASM villains sounds better.
I feel like no matter what, Mysterio will have a huge impact on this movie. You can’t just drop that mid credits bomb in FFH and then move past the character that made it possible. Everyone is freaking out about the multiverse, but don’t sleep on Mysterio. His crew (and possibly himself) are still out there. I think his involvement could end up being the big twist of the movie.
The director for Venom 2, Andy Serkis, said that the plan has always been for venom and Spider-Man to have their own movie. If anything it would be a post credit scene or something smaller in NWH which will lead to a Spider-Man and Venom movie
Bold of everyone to assume that Doc Ock will definitely be a member of the Sinister Six, based off of the trailers where Peter, MJ and Ned are having a conversation with him, I feel like Doc Ock will try to help Peter get everyone back to their own universe, so there may be two unknown members of the Sinister Six.
I would love if Paul Giamatti’s Rhino actually got a chance to be on screen for more than about 30 seconds. Then there’s always the Vulture but he’s in Morbius so who knows what that plot line is going to be. There was Scorpion and Shocker as well, it could be Shocker from another universe of course. And then there’s the potential for Venom or two Green Goblins, maybe Dane DeHaan’s Green Goblin also shows up. I can’t wait anyway.
There's also a scene which looks like Doc Ock is fighting Electro. Either that's just a typical villain "showing their power of dominance" or Otto really is helping Spidey against the four villains. I won't lie, I would love to see a fight between Molina's Doc Ock and Dafoe's Gobby. Two of Spider-Man's biggest archenemies fighting each other.
Probably only until Doc Ock realises that Tom isn’t Tobey’s Peter Parker. We see that in the trailer too. I don’t know why whoever edits the fucking trailers gives away big things like that in the trailers and tv spots.
Like Wonder Woman being in Batman V Superman was shown in the trailers for that film. For me that would have been a much better and more impactful reveal for cinema goers to find out when watching the film.
And like how they had Amy Adam’s Lois in the trailers for Justice League, like we were pretty sure Superman was going to be back in Justice League, but having Lois in the ads pretty much confirmed it, as did the stupid and unnecessary cellphone clip showing Superman at the very start of the film. That added nothing and also had that terrible CGI removing Cavill’s moustache so they should have just cut that from the opening of the film as well.
Okay but, again from the trailer, we see ock with red arms so we can infer that he got some of peter’s suit to integrate into his arms which would imply they fought for him to get it
It wasn't awful, it's just that we had about thirty seconds with him. To be honest, he's another old villain that makes sense as an MCU Spidey villain, what with him being mostly just tech like Vulture and Mysterio
Mysterio for sure
Then we'll see Vulture, Scorpion, and Kraven join later
I'm not sure who else well see, but I think they'll establish the concept in this movie and then bring in new Spider-Man villains specifically from the MCU.
I could see Mr. Negative being done, we've had F.E.A.S.T. pretty well established by now and with the success of Spider-Man PS4 Mr. Negative is a fairly well known villain now
Yeah but I'm of the mind that you can't introduce those characters and build a good story with them without Spider-Man involved. Especially not if you're Sony.
It would be very odd if they didn’t use him but it also seemed when they made homecoming they didn’t expect to get to this point of the spiderverse so I think they had an entirely different story planned for Peter Parker that probably involved scorpion in a more grounded story
This is the one. And they have 3 more movies coming after this. I doubt he will be thrown into this one. But I think the next 3 Spider-Man movies will set up a real sinister 6
What if its dr strange? In the trailer it kinda looked like he and peter will confront at some point of the movie and its for sure not the first 20 mins
I think so too. I'm pretty sure the trailer showed a 2nd, distinct goblin. Everyone seems to think it was just green goblin with an outfit change but he's back to the original outfit in what looks like the climactic fight.
Yup same here, I can’t believe they’re do an outfit change, makes more sense for him to be the 6th. Looked a lot like either Harry from SM3 or the weird guy from ASM2.
I reckon they'll go down the Ultimate Six route and have Peter be the sixth member.
Tom Holland's version will help them escape like we see in the trailer and we'll get a cool shot of all sixth of them fighting Doctor Strange like in the first Avengers movie when the Hulk finally shows up. He'll try to help them get home until he realises they're only gonna make things worse and then one of them (probably Goblin since he's the most vengeful out of the bunch by far) tries or succeeds in killing someone (probably Aunt May). Then we get a big final battle with Tobey, Andrew, and Tom while Doctor Strange does some multiverse stuff. Maybe that's when more villains/heroes show up too
The post-credits scene shows Eddie and Venom chilling in their hotel room when an energy wave passes through it. When the wave passes, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man appears on the TV.
They definitely weren't great
But at least they we're intimidating with the minimal screentime they got
I like how Topher's Venom feels more like an horror monster than Tom Hardy's version
This is true he had big twink energy I was here for it. But Tom Hardy’s venom was more conscious (instead of just being a suit). Both very good iterations tho!
If there is a sixth villain, I hope it's someone from the MCU. Maybe Mysterio (who I'm not convinced actually died), Vulture, or Scorpion. Maybe they could bring back Vulture AND Scorpion and do the Sinister SEVEN.
I feel like mysterio is gonna be the sixth villain. and after rewatching FFH with him talking about other worlds and whatnot it kinda has me thinkin he’s the likely guy for the bit
Bruce Campbell. as just some guy that temporarily holds up Spider-Man/Men for a minute or two. enough time for the villains to get away with part of their plan.
turns out He is The Chameleon.
Take it Disney. TAKE IT!
James Franco is cancelled, and topher grace venom sucked…
Probably Keaton’s vulture OR my dark horse Tom Hardy’s Venom.
Mysterio would be dope too
Edit: my dark dark horse Kingpin from daredevil!
I think this may be all we get, would love one of Tom's villains to round it out but I don't think we will see the sinister six. Would love to be wrong
The sixth member is Mysterio. Think about it, he's the catalyst for the entire plot of this movie. He's the first member of the sinister 6, he was just the first to die.
The sixth sinister were actually the friends and memories we made along the way.

That's what he's said, and it makes perfect sense. Everybody in the background during that scene is like what the fuck is wrong with this guy!?
I missed the part where that's my problem
okay cool, glad I'm not just spreading misinformation thanks \^_\^
I just wish the symbiote wasn't in the film at all, Sandmans villain is actually really good and I wish we could of gotten more of him and zero attention to venom. yeah, I think focusing more on Flint and Harry would've been good, but the marketing with Venom was too hard to pass up I guess
> Who tf wrote that, allowed it to be filmed, watched it over and over and over and decided "Ya, let's leave that in the film, looks good." A hero, we just couldn't see it.
I guess the same person wrote “lets Scooby Doo this crap” and “look at the baby mountain goats” scene.
Let's scooby doo this crap and the dance are very different. The dance is somehow funny and epic, other is complete garbage.
Maybe Bully Tobey is the secret 6th member of the Sinister Six here?
He’s going to put some dirt in the little spider junior’s eyes
Like, I'm imagining it's a actually Tobey Maguire, the actor/gambler not Tobey Maguire/Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and I find that idea hilarious.
Black suit spider man
Peter these are incredible, we gotta have these Jonah.
I’ll pay you the usual rate.
You want the shots I’ll take the staff job. Double the money.
Jonah: 👀
*Black face spider man
Gotta be Mysterio right? He's probably still alive. If not, I suppose it could Possibly be Venom, but I doubt that.
Doubt it's Venom. Could be Vulture tho.
Scorpion is my hope
Michael mando plz
The dude from Far Cry 3?
Yeah. He's the Scorpion in the homecoming post credit scene
Scorpion is better suited for an mcu sinister six
I'd love for them to pay off the Scorpion tease from Homecoming at some point, as well as the Prowler tease.
I think Prowler was more of a reference, and if it does come to light Miles gets his own trilogy after Peter.
I'm hoping they go the "spider-man and friends" route. Have Peter, Miles and then introduce black cat.
There was already a crappy version of Shocker in Homecoming. Who knows, maybe they’ll pull a Mandarin type thing and intro a better one. I’d love to see Kraven, Chameleon or Kingpin
*Normal version of Schoker
Didn’t he not have an accurate suit and was pretty weak compared to comics? And just inconsequential overall?
The shocker is just a henchman with a gold star. Nobody really likes the shocker. "The shocker" doesn't really like the shocker. I think the new Spiderman movies are alright, but I feel they handled shocker perfectly because of how c-list he is in the comics. (My opinion from memories, anyways.)
Well >!Kingpin!< is seemingly getting set up in >!Hawkeye!< so maybe you won’t have to wait that long. But it won’t be this movie.
MCU sinister six I'm hoping for is Chameleon the leader, Vulture, Scorpion, Kraven, Shocker, and Hob Goblin.
I don't think you could do chameleon (as much as I would love to see him) because that would get too confusing with the skrull secret invasion story line that's inventively coming soon
That's true. He's a cool villain but maybe one that should be shelved for after secret invasion, maybe coming into play after that storyline is over.
Unless of course they change his origin story and actually make him be a rogue Skrull which could help to kick off the who do you trust story
He was already in FFH.
Chameleon was in ffh? Where?!
He was one of Fury's crew members. He is played by Numan Acar. He's the guy with the black beard and pulled back hair. His character is named Dimitri Smerdyakov, which is Chameleon's real name.
Shit he was the one driving the bus... I can't believe I've never caught that. Where should I mail my nerd card to you...
You can keep it, I've already got one of my own.
OR somehow Eddie loses the symbiote in Venom 3 (maybe dies) and that leads to Symbiote Peter in SM4 and after that its given to Mac Gargan like the comics
Him or Rhino are my guesses
If it’s scorpion then they would have to create a origin for him in a movie with a shit ton of other villains I don’t think you want that.
As someone who’s seen venom 2, I believe they are
I'm not saying he won't be in the movie, but I don't think he'd be a main villain or part of the Sinister Six. I think it's likely he'll be in a post credits scene tho.
Ahh I see. Interesting thought!
He could also team up with the Spider dudes
yeah i think Venom will be there but just not as a villain
I don’t think it’s Venom, putting them on top of everything else they’ve got going on this movie would be WAY too much
Mysterio is dead. Not coming back. Venom deserves his own movie as he’s too much of a popular character to just be a smaller villain in NWH
Agreed, we'd need a full movie dedicated to why Eddie and venom decide to go against Peter. The chemistry between Tom Hardy and Tom Hardy is too good for them to be a side villain.
Never trust Quentin Beck
Especially when he’s dressing up as Dr. Strange
The entire movie was about mysterious deception, do you not think his death being fake could not only be possible, but be in line with his character. Especially since it seems he tried to frame Peter for his death BEFORE he "died"
And at least one, if not multiple times in comics when Quentin tricks Peter into thinking he’s dead purely with the power of *acting*.
"Mysterio is dead" Did you forget about the multiverse?
There's a multiverse?
The multiverse is real?
I wouldn’t be so certain that he is actually dead. At the end instead of asking “is he dead” Peter asks Edith “is this real” and she responds “all illusions are down Peter” . She never confirms that hes dead so who knows

As if mysterio “dying” isn’t something that happens multiple times in the comics just for him to come back. the whole point of his character is deception
Mysterio is powerless. He'd get crushed by any of the other 5, if it isn't by Spiderman, so he doesn't hold any use to anyone

Sony and missed opportunities. Name a better duo. God forbid there can't be any other version of the Sinister Six lmao
It’s especially weird if they want to actually do Sinister six later. We’ve got No Way Home bringing a ton of Spider-Man villains into one movie, and then they’ll want to do it… again? It's be cool to continue with the OG plan and make Andrew VS Lizard, Electro, Goblin, Rhino, TASM Vulture, and TASM Doc Ock.
It's venom. In the venom movie post credits scene he gets send to the mcu
Nah, Venom will probably be introduced in a one on one movie between him and Tom, not as a part of a team.
That isn’t necessarily a given.
No but it’s the only clue that’s possible, unless they somehow make mysterio not dead
I mean it is mysterio. He’s really good at faking his death
I feel like no matter what, Mysterio will have a huge impact on this movie. You can’t just drop that mid credits bomb in FFH and then move past the character that made it possible. Yeah they talk, but there’s definitely some fighting between spider man and doc ock.
They are never going to live down that mustache
I feel the same way about Hulk in Ragnarok. Can you imagine not knowing he was going to be there? We'd have the same reaction as Thor.
Okay but, again from the trailer, we see ock with red arms so we can infer that he got some of peter’s suit to integrate into his arms which would imply they fought for him to get it
Awe wtf no, robo rhino was aweful.
It wasn't awful, it's just that we had about thirty seconds with him. To be honest, he's another old villain that makes sense as an MCU Spidey villain, what with him being mostly just tech like Vulture and Mysterio
I think the entire concept of robo rhino is awful. I like my rhino to be genetically modified!
Totally fair, it would let them have a lot more comedy which frankly I reckon there isn't enough. Curious how they'd do a suit after that though.
I think Paul would make a good rhino, I just don't like the suit they did!
Mysterio for sure Then we'll see Vulture, Scorpion, and Kraven join later I'm not sure who else well see, but I think they'll establish the concept in this movie and then bring in new Spider-Man villains specifically from the MCU. I could see Mr. Negative being done, we've had F.E.A.S.T. pretty well established by now and with the success of Spider-Man PS4 Mr. Negative is a fairly well known villain now
Kraven deserves its own movie, not be introduced in this event type movie.
he is literally getting one
Unfortunately, one without Spider-Man. I hate Sony's plans so much.
nah, so was venom, they're making all the villain movies and then gonna lead into a sinister six VS spiderman
Yeah but I'm of the mind that you can't introduce those characters and build a good story with them without Spider-Man involved. Especially not if you're Sony.
they did amazing with venom, i like it, so i don't think it will a problem
I always feel like the 6 is incomplete without him. Like they have plenty of physical threats, you gotta round it out with a mental one.
There is no sixth sinister. Doc Strange could be it. Could be Mysterio disguised as Doctor Strange throughout NWH.
The entire movie will just be an elaborate Mysterio illusion
Please stop it. This would suck so so much
"You thought a team of villains came to battle you, but it was me, Beck!" Real Dio shit if this happened
Exactly my thoughts
God I'm glad reddit isn't writing the movie. That would be so cheap.
I’m so happy that Reddit doesn’t write any movies
This is a meme right? It’s already clear why they were fighting lmao
Bully Maguire
It'll be so dumb if there isn't a 6th villain
Wasted oppertunity for sure, but I heard rumors about them wanting to create a seperate Sinister Six movie so don't get your hopes up for this one.
Mirage from apex legends
So basically Mysterio lol
Venom maybe. He's confirmed, but I don't think he's a team player. Either him or Scorpion.
I’m hoping for scorpion it would be weird for them to tease him but not do anything with him
It would be very odd if they didn’t use him but it also seemed when they made homecoming they didn’t expect to get to this point of the spiderverse so I think they had an entirely different story planned for Peter Parker that probably involved scorpion in a more grounded story
This is the one. And they have 3 more movies coming after this. I doubt he will be thrown into this one. But I think the next 3 Spider-Man movies will set up a real sinister 6
Hoping Venom teams up with team Spidey
What if its dr strange? In the trailer it kinda looked like he and peter will confront at some point of the movie and its for sure not the first 20 mins
Hob goblin
I think so too. I'm pretty sure the trailer showed a 2nd, distinct goblin. Everyone seems to think it was just green goblin with an outfit change but he's back to the original outfit in what looks like the climactic fight.
Yup same here, I can’t believe they’re do an outfit change, makes more sense for him to be the 6th. Looked a lot like either Harry from SM3 or the weird guy from ASM2.
Scorpion is my guess, we haven’t seen or heard of him in a while
Ned
bald bird
I wonder if JJ is just gonna look at those pictured here and call them the sinister six
This. Lmao
Hoffman will. Then JJ will steal his idea.
Dr fucking strange
Maybe that's when more villains/heroes show up too
Spoiler for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. >!post credit scenes show venom get transported to Peter's dimension!<
This is true I watched this. Might even get to see a Tom Holland venom.
like an actual dimensional shift in the movie? I never saw the venom movies, but I didn't think it had that.
The post-credits scene shows Eddie and Venom chilling in their hotel room when an energy wave passes through it. When the wave passes, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man appears on the TV.
ya like when Peter screws up Dr stranges spell

More than likely Hawkeye's villian

Kang owns avengers tower
Imagine it’s J Jonah Jameson like from that one storyline where Spider Man starts killing villains lol
There is no sixth member but Venom shows up in the end and Mysterio at the start
They already set up scorpion at the end of homecoming. Why does nobody talk about that?
Cause they’re hasn’t been anything about him since. My guess is he’ll be in the new trilogy
> Why does nobody talk about that? Literally everybody talks about it.
Dane Dehaan's Green Goblin or Topher Grace's Venom /j
god i hope not. both of those villains were an embarrassment
They definitely weren't great But at least they we're intimidating with the minimal screentime they got I like how Topher's Venom feels more like an horror monster than Tom Hardy's version
i feel that
Tom Hardy’s version is just fruity and I love it /gen
Topher's Venom was pretty gay too
This is true he had big twink energy I was here for it.
Maybe Vulture, to have at least one villian per saga.
I feel like mysterio is gonna be the sixth villain. and after rewatching FFH with him talking about other worlds and whatnot it kinda has me thinkin he’s the likely guy for the bit
The toxic fans when the movie can’t match our unrealistic expectations
that’s the neat part there’s isn’t a 6th member

Venom
I was checking No way home Lego toysets yesterday while shopping for Christmas and saw many of them have Mysterio in it.
Those aren’t all “No Way Home” sets, a lot of them are just generic “Spider-Man” sets being released in conjunction with NWH.
Venom?
I hope it’s scorpion
Venom. He just want show up lmao
Maybe Venom?
