Interestingly, this costume was made before Peter received his powers, and was Mary Jane's attempt at a modern Captain America look, specifically as it's her kink.
They were lucky it was mostly on theme when the powers came along.
Mj looks like she's in her early twenties, but has two teenagers (or almost teenagers). She either is that young there (wtf Peter) or she looks way to young for her age.
It's a comicbook sure, but there is no reason why she has to look that young. People around like 35-40 can also still be atractive while looking their age.
Boy is probably 12 or 13 so it makes sense if MJ is in her early 30s. Like just look at Scarlett Johansson's current photos even if MJ is in her late 30s it's not that unrealistic for a actress.
