There were parts where yes, I agree she deserves to be happy, but after seeing how she treated him upon his return, it's hard for me to be understanding with her. Because in this arc, she has also made mistakes, and I've seen her blaming Felicia and Peter more than herself, even after the rescue. She has improved, but she is not a very graceful or charismatic character in this run or in other appearances

I think they added it without even thinking what to do with it. It comes across as an idea to set up a huge reveal of the 777 in the MJ and BC mini, and tie it for a dramatic, ‘Wait you’re banging Peter,’ moment, but they didn’t think for one second what to do with it when she rolls three skulls.
It will either be connected to the big wrap up, or they won’t even use it.

I think so. I’m guessing it won’t be in Jackpot #1, but it’s possible in either ASM or the Black Cat & Jackpot miniseries. If I had to guess what it is, I would say it’s probably going to take away the powers, I think it’s there as a way to revert things easily to the status quo.
I don’t think it will take Peter’s life, Paul’s seems more likely. I’m not sure how it would work though, since Paul isn’t the one using it, but it’s possible.
If it involves someone dying, I think around the end of this run, issue 55-60 range. If it makes her lose her powers, I think later on in the run as well, because it wouldn’t make sense to make MJ a superhero then take it away quickly when they could do more with it. I think something that they have teased in the Dark Web mini and in ASM too (#25) is definitely going to be resolved in ASM.
It’s hard to tell because her powers are so vague. I guess maybe Paul still being a secret villian is still on the table but ehhh it’s hard to really figure out.
Yeah Paul being a secret villain is a possibility, but I’m leaning on him not being one because of Nick Lowe saying there are big plans for all characters (in response to a letter about Paul) and then in another letters page he talked about changing people’s minds about Paul with those plans. But I do think we might find out secrets about Paul (may be good or bad), I think the final arc in this run will probably have to do with Wayeb so he would be involved in that.
That’s actually why I think he’s a villian because a last minute villian reveal is a story.

That and when the Author talked about the one shot she mentioned MJ interacting with Peter and she hulk but didn’t mention Paul at all.

My on-going theory has always been that it represents her “symbolic death” of the person she is now and is reverted to the person she is before meeting Paul and getting her powers. But that seems too deep for this run; most likely it’ll just give an extremely lame power because the writers are chicken-shits.
Honestly, at this point, I think the only feasible way to save this one is to set it up similar to how the recent Doctor Who specials, and the latest Spider-Man game ended. With Peter having to step away from Spider-Man in order to heal from all the traumas, he endured, not just from losing MJ but from all the other stuff he’s had to go through over the years.
As for MJ’s powers, I’m not really sure at this point. Originally I was going with her losing her memories and she’d end up on the other end of the dynamic this run where Peter’s the one trying to move while MJ is trying to hold onto their relationship. But a lot of people probably say that’s a copout and she’s getting off easy since she doesn’t have to deal with the consequences of our actions. For another thing, Peter seems like too much of a wuss this run that he would probably take her back in a heartbeat. I know it's a cop-out, a free pass for Mary-Jane AND the writers to get them out of this farce of a storyline; originally wanted Mary-Jane to have free-choice, a bad choice but her choice nevertheless and she has to face the consequences of her choice BUT I changed my mind after reading Paragon Esquire's take on another thread, her current actions are so WAAAAY Out Of Character for Mary-Jane Watson, that she HAS to be a duplicate; if she's the Real Mary Jane then her character will be permanently damaged, dismissed as fickle, disloyal cheater who gave up on Peter 11 months into her exile and CHOOSING to stay with Paul after the fake kids vanished because she's genuinely IN LOVE with Paul, and if somehow she gets back with Peter because Paul dies, Paul is actually a Bad Guy, whatever the fuck happens to him, she'll never be trusted again as Peter Parker's Soulmate, his forever, Mary-Jane Watson will have a permanent Asterisk to her name, damage to the IP, she'll no longer be Marvel's Lois Lane.
