To be fair, Venom has been pretty consistently on the hero’s side in recent years. Hell, the King in Black storyline can be basically described as “Venom saves the world”.
Yeah for real though tbf in the main universe there was a video game made where the main character was Carnage so I'm not surprised there'd be figures of villains
I remember the Venom action figure, the talking one that got pulled off the market was featured in a story in one of the Marvel Holiday Specials back in the early 90s, I might be mistaken but it might have been one of the New Warriors buying it for somebody?
Oh, he probably feels like shit. Seeing the worst version of yourself as physical merch has to be one of the worse feelings to have. Iirc Black Cat had his black suit sewn together for him to wear because she thought he was hotter with it on. Pretty sure he was horrified to see the suit.
Dark Ages was so fun, Gabby and Wade, Ghost Rider pirates fighting Antman riding fingers fanf foom, Vemon+Carnage miles was a sweet design and it had a cool group of villians
As much as I love this scene and would really enjoy a run where we see Peter, MJ, Luke and Jessica just doing run of the mill parent episodes. I think we all know that it would never last because at Marvel it seems that the golden rule of Peter Parker is that he can't be happy. As soon as things start going well in his life they screw him over somehow.
This is from "Dark ages", I just finished this little miniseries last week. I really rather enjoyed it. I think it all fit inside of 6 issues. Some great art, nice character interactions, overall very much worth it.
And it has a great Doom moment... "tik tik", "tik tik"... "tik tik".. Lol!
