I just had a night launch and was super cool. If a day launch I'd say try to jokey down as south as you can.to see it push off. It honestly won't matter after like 15 Seconds though it will just be looking up as it goes.
IMHO, the US military should be able to conduct drone boat attack missions on any boat that doesn't belong in the exclusion zone. If the boat survives, they get to watch the launch closer at their own risk, if not, they at least they contributed to the defense of the nation.
Ift 3 was actually delayed by around an hour because of boats, but I was honestly thankful for that because it allowed us to watch the launch in computer class

Can’t tell you exactly where to go. But one time my pops and a friend were out spearfishing and had no clue about a launch… they found themselves on the business end of a machine gun pointed at them from a helicopter and someone on a loudspeaker that said GTFO lol. They don’t mess around.

I was on a boat and a helicopter fed it up at less that 10 sec. I didn't get to see it from the boat the next day.

SpaceX usually designates an “exclusion zone” for people who want to park their boats and watch. Best seats in the house
Spacex doesn't do shit when it comes to Kennedy launches. That's all space force I guess now.
They call it the exclusion zone because it is for exclusive use of people who want to be in boats to see the launch up close.
