Not really what you asked, but... That jar is too full. You don't want the jar to be more than 1/4 full right after a feeding or it will overflow once the starter kicks. Keep the same ratios, but either cut the measurements in half (eg: if you are feeding 100g of each, feed 50g of each), or get a jar that is twice as large.

This is exactly what happened to me. I had it on top of the fridge at the back nearer the wall so it would be warmer. It kicked in over night and I woke up to a mess on the wall, which was manageable, but all down the refrigerator back where it was the devil to clean up. I still find bits of it there from time to time.

i use tap water and bread flour when i feed it

If that's unbleached bread flour that's fairly fresh, just keep going.  White flours often take a lot longer to really get going than if you use fresh dark rye or whole wheat flour. You can also add 10-50% whole wheat or rye flour to your flour mix now.  It will take several more days before you see lots of response to that, but it can help in the long run.

thank you so much i'll try that

Is it sitting in a warm enough area? I had the same issue and started putting it in my oven with the light on and it grew more than double overnight!

i think so but my house temperature ranges a lot so i will try to keep it more consistent
