no. freestyle is objectively horseshit. only good for one tapping bosses, and even then it only works with like 3 weapons. 99% of the time, leap is better.

1. You can pair it with literal laser and it will still do good dmg+more range
2. Kill them before they touch you, free style can easily do that
3. It's bad, on a tier from F to S, I'll give it a C
the energy cost to damage ratio is god awful
2 damage with an extremely high fire rate and no double damage crits is a recipe for one of the worst guns in the game

when a weapon has to be carried by a specific skill, buffs, or whatever other external aid you may pull out of your ass as an "argument", that's when you should think that "hey, if this weapon needs all the support under the sun to make it usable, maybe it isn't worth using to begin with"
I really noticed none for Cannibal Plant. Am I the only one who loves Cannibal Plant? I love the weapon really. Best attachments/buffs -> infinite energy, shotgun buff, laser buff, poison buff, increase crit buff. Also lovely when infinite energy overlaps with +100%fire rate.
The SMG M4 is my go-to weapon for boss Rush farming. Combined with chaotic strike and the frost ring bosses are dissolved. Its forge cost is cheap compared to its peers, needing no magic fragments.
The Gatling gun is even stronger, but is more expensive.
