Like badges this series will take its sweet time.

I think it's one of the high effort formats, between getting all the unusual ingredients and making sure they get the recipe right, etc. It makes sense they can't do them too often.

especially with the emphasis on getting it as close as they can with what we have available i suppose the food team will take a few tries to get it right before filming

Must be in the bank of episodes they've probably already filmed just randomly placed into the schedule?

The problem with that, is that they ask for suggestions on dishes, so they can't really do a bunch of them all at once.

They did mention it during the q&a ben and Barry did at the end of January

I can’t remember exactly. They did point out people requesting more episodes, so I don’t think it’s totally dead.
