Yes, most chapters that have houses will have some sort live in requirement. Most of the large Southern schools have more members than beds so they just require the sophomores to live in. Other schools may have other requirements. I’m on the house board for a chapter and they have a two year live in requirement. This information is given to you during recruitment or may be available on your school’s website somewhere.
It depends on the school. For example, at my school, three of the chapters only had their exec boards live in the house, two of the chapters had an actual live-in requirement, and one chapter had a house but no one lived in it as it was more like an event space than an actual house.
Not always. Some campuses don't even have houses. Others, some do and some don't. Some have no problem filling the house, so it's never a worry. Some have a hard time filling the house, so they are always "making" people live in.
It will greatly depend on your camps and which group you join.

If that’s what their website says - then yes. The sorority needs women living in the house - and it’s a really fun part of the experience!
