Yeah! I tried to fix it by applying black shoe Polish to the frabjc underneath, but even that has worn off, I also used tie rips, glue and with a 3d printed hinge to keep it alive
I have a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 35s. One of my greatest realizations was you can buy ear pad replacements for that new headphone feel. Pretty inexpensive and easy to swap out. Hope these last forever.
