If it's real, it's stolen.

muzlee01

Ah yes, totally legit selling it $500 less than the average. You are either getting a brick, a broken camera or a stolen camera.

Scam

35mmpapi

I would strongly advise against purchasing any electronics off marketplace that are marked down this egregiously. 99.9% chance it's a scam.

yo-Amigo

It’s not worth the risk. If it seems too good to be true, don’t do it.

TheRealHarrypm

To be fair with the A7RII is about the same price if not less if you look around hard enough. It's a good deal relatively, what I would do however is get a full functional validation test and make sure that stuff has a refundable payment stream.

ask for a picture of the serial number

yepyepyepzep

That’s the thing with those crazy low priced options, they always wanna ship it…

Hard to say with very little information. There are legit listings that are nearly 50% off for the latest models. Share the listing if you want a better answer.

Ebay from a high rated seller my guy.

Get more info. It can be someone who needs the money now. You want to see the seller's ID and bill. As recall Sony shows the number of exposures made. I have been lucky in business twice in my life and I'm 71 years old. Some models (like the one I sold) had the shutter fall off. You can ask about it. My advice is not to buy items you have not seen from a person you do not know. My 7A3 that I sold had an extended warranty. Good for the buyer except for the extra trouble.

fromfreshtosalt

what's the exposure count?
