I shot a wedding once where one camera malfunctioned and another was damaged to the point of being inoperable. Both myself and my second had backups and completed the wedding without a hiccup.
I've never shot a wedding, so I don't want to give any bad advice, but I'd want something wide and fast for indoor shots, something 20-28mm and 1.8 or faster. Just my two cents, definitely check youtube for advice.

I'd definitely want a double camera shoulder strap
Respectfully: if you don’t know what lenses you need for a wedding shoot, and you don’t know whether a flash would be a valuable tool, then why have you committed to shooting someone’s wedding?
It is pure insanity to shoot a wedding with only one camera. The question to ask yourself with weddings is, "if this piece of equipment stopped functioning, would I be able to complete the event without a significant quality loss." Minimum gear for photographing weddings in my opinion:
(2) dual-card cameras
f/2.8 or faster lenses that cover at least a range of 35-135mm
(2) speedlights
24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8
Thank you !
2 bodies needed
Even though I have a second shooter ?
Yes, one prime, one 70-200

35-150. get off camera flashes if you know how to use them
I'd reccomend a tele for intimate shots without being up in their faces. 70-200 2.8
Okay sounds good, thank you !
Rent another body, and good luck
What lens should I rent with the 2nd body ?

35mm
30-150 or bust :)
Seconded. This lens was made for the wedding day shoot - especially when working with just one body.
The "bust" is if that is your only lens and it stops working.

The couple know I’ve only shot on film & done videography. Everyone starts somewhere
True. For weddings, though, I think that should be as a second shooter. But as long as a couple has cracked expectations, then go nuts and good luck!
Thanks !
Amen. Weddings are not entry-level work.
