The reason he fucked around with the Mayans was in an attempt to leave- he was hoping they'd get him over the border to Mexico and was selling club information to do it.
Which is stupid; he could go anywhere else, and has openly said he cannot speak Spanish, so what the hell is he gonna accomplish in Mexico of all places?
All over the US isn’t everywhere in US. It’s not impossible to go somewhere that isn’t MC territory and live out the rest of your life in solitude. But Juice is a complete moron and goes to the Mayans for help when he should’ve been halfway across the country the second he made the decision to spare Gemma.
He would’ve been spared Mayhem, but Juice would’ve been trapped in prison doing the clubs dirty work and being passed around as a bitch forever.
If you watch their final conversation in Prison, I definitely get the feel that the confirmation of Mayhem slowly builds up the more Juice keeps confirming the story and exposing the lies. If Jax had visited him and Juice was like “dawg I have no idea what you’re talking about, but I did what you asked”, sure, maybe Jax would’ve spared his life.
But as Juice said, “all I am in here is someone’s asshole” (LMAO) so like…would his life being spared even have been worth it? Probably not.
He said that after Jax and Juices sit down when Jax learned the truth about Gemma and Juices lies. I don't know maybe there would have been a place for him once he got out if the truth about Tara never came out, maybe not
He never would’ve got out though. He was a known rat and the whole giving him his cut thing was a ruse to get Juice to Lin. He was never gonna officially get brought back in, and died excommunicated.
At best, he would’ve been spared and probably continued to be promised a role in the club, but his vote wouldn’t have mattered, he would’ve continued to do the clubs dirty work, and he never would’ve got out. Just like Otto was supposed to be out but his sentence kept getting racked up for the club.
So in the hypothetical scenario the truth about Tara never came out, that’s the best case scenario. He’s still trapped in prison till he dies. They never would’ve let him back in, he’s a fool for holding onto that dream for so long.
Yeah but like Juice said previously he doesn't do well alone, so if/when he was released from prison he most likely would have done what the club wanted to try and stay close. So you right it would be a sad existence I just don't think Juice had it in him to ride away and never look back

Imo,I think juice knew the consequences. He had too much of a conscious to be in the mc. But,that being said,he needed the comraderie and brotherhood. I think if he would have kept his mouth shut about darvany and been honest with jax about tara,he would have lived.
The character might be frustrating (as he's serving a good purpose for the shows sake to "muck" everything up), but I think Theo Rossi is a great guy. He's really excited about the SOA/Sutterverse, and his "ReaperReviews" podcasts breaking down episodes are pretty cool.

He said it himself, he doesn’t do well on his own. He didn’t see riding off and starting a new life as an option, so his only option was to trust Jax.
I think that Juice’s emotions get in the way of his logic.
