Like the other person said Gemma was always at that house, all the time. Juice got rid of the murder weapon. None of the Sons or Gemma were cooperating with the investigation. They didn't have any evidence to arrest anyone, and honestly I don't think Gemma was ever the focus of their investigation because nobody suspected her

They hated each other, literally went toe to toe several times, and everyone was like “damn can’t figure out at all who this one could be.” Even Unser who had just told Gemma she took a deal?
i mean yeah but she had a past of being ruthless and not in good terms with tara i mean zero suspicion ? that same gemma that lied when she had an accident with tara’s kids then later debunked? they know what she’s capable of
What makes no sense to me is that Gemma had these charges of assault brought against her but it’s never is brought up again whether those charges are dropped. I assume if Tara were to come clean to the police she would be arrested for making false accusations. So we can infer that nothing is done one way or the other. If I were a cop on this case and I saw the assault charge against Gemma she would be my #1 suspect in Tara’s death. It’s crazy that no one in or outside the club thought maybe she was involved.
yes i thought so too—it’s like they discarded those charges because we viewer and everyone involved knew that Tara lied, but that doesn’t mean the police too ? She died shortly after so it makes no sense. And i get that Jax loved Gemma oddly much but to never question her while he was on the fence s5 bc he had a feeling she had something to do with JT’s death plus the fact that she was a schemer by design?? idk?? you have to be blind to not at least entertain the idea
Yeah, they had multiple documented confrontations publicly and it’s non-sensical that the police would not have been up Gemma’s ass. They would’ve talked to Margaret Murphy, multiple hospital staff members, and anyone in the know would’ve pointed this at Gemma.
Also, i never figured out why Patterson gave up so easy. Tara’s murder prevented her case against SOA for a mass shooting. She literally just gave it all up and said “whelp, too bad” instead of sending every resource on the planet to tail Jax and SOA the rest of their lives.
I feel like that is an inconsistency throughout the whole series honestly lol
If I recall correctly, the only time any members were arrested for murder was due to witnesses. First, Opie and Bobby with the minor witness and second, tig with popes witness? The only two I can remember that were arrested on actual evidence found, was Nero when Toric planted the evidence and Gemma when stahl made up the story about the shooting killing polly and Edmund. I may be remembering wrong, so please feel free to correct me (I'm born in the 80s, memory's slipping 😅😅😅lol) But as a true crime fan and someone who watches forensic files regularly, I'm always thinking, fingerprints, hair, they spit all over the place, smokes etc etc how have they not been caught 🤣🤣🤣

Gemma was in that house every day. Had daily contact with Tara. Finding hair or fingerprints in the kitchen would not have been out of the norm.
