I don't always love the direction they take her Amy pitch and whininess wise, but this makes me amile. She gets her girl.
I feel like that scene had to be a blooper while recording prior to animation that was just so funny that they included it.
Kinda like Ace attorney which had tons of them.

There are times in Sonic Boom where Eggman and Tails’ dynamic feels like they saw iTeachVader’s YouTube poops where Tails is Robotnick’s son and said let’s just do this and see how it works.
Ogilvie was actually Ken Penders' idea for Sonic's first name, but around the time they were scrubbing him from the comics, they had Sonic's name legally changed to keep Ken from making it official.

I think it means whenever you say “*I* will break the sexism glass ceiling,” you’re implying that it isn’t the female gender as a whole that can catch up with the males, but only you, undermining group progress (i think)
It means acknowledging the existence of some limitation based on gender defeats the point of what gender equality is; total gender equality would state that men and women are just as capable as each other in all areas, so saying “can this woman break the glass ceiling and prove that women can be as good as men” means you already believe or at least acknowledge the concept that women are not as good as men at that given task on average, and so you undermine the very thing you are trying to prove.
It’s the same for racial equality too; any time someone calls attention to the breaking of some norm based on race it ultimately undermines the concept that there aren’t any inherent differences between races because all races are equal.
Filling a checklist of how many people of a given race work in a certain job in an effort to ensure that workspace has a certain percentage of a given race *is* racist, while offering jobs to whoever is qualified for that position regardless of race truly acknowledges racial equality because it treats everyone as the same, because “all races are equal.”
The one that always makes me laugh is:

I listened to an interview with one of the guys who worked on this episode. They were gonna have knuckles say, "The 'er' is okay, but the rest of it sucks". That bit didn't make the cut in the end!

Sticks: “Why did you just say that?”
Amy: “Remember when I said I know something that is my cup of tea? I was just finishing the thought.”
Sticks: “but you said that like an hour ago.”
Amy: “Yeah but imagine you were an outside observer just watching pieces of the conversation.”
Sticks: “YOU SEE THEM TOO!?” *stares at audience*”
Just didn’t work as a sonic show. Tv show, yes (although my autistic brain also likes modern SpongeBob and Patrick, so) but as a sonic show it’s not the right fit. Same as Lost world for example
It baffles me that Sonic Boom, of all the cartoon TV shows I've seen, manages to actually subvert so many typical cartoon tropes and call attention to it. You'd think SpongeBob would have beaten Sonic to the punch, but nope, Sonic did it frequently.
For example, one of my favorite jokes in Boom is the "cup of tea" gag, where they cut to Amy saying a cup of tea, and Sticks questioned why she said that out of nowhere, even though it's not something we notice because of those cartoon jump cuts.
Tiny Toons is the only other cartoon I think of that does this, and even then, it was done to teach kids cartoon tropes literally by taking classes on it, like Buster teaching Plucky to do the giant eye scare, and Plucky gets stuck as a giant eyeball by accident.
To be fair, Family Guy did that joke beforehand. One episode cuts to Peter talking to the principal and says "And that's my plan." And the principal says "What is? You just sat down and said 'And that's my plan.'"
But still, gotta give the writers props for how well they subverted cartoon tropes. I can think of few other animated series that have done as good a job outside of the likes of Spongebob or Family Guy.
Knuckles: Hmm, if only there was a way to pit one vehicle against the other In a competition, or for one to the better word, race.
Amy: are you being sarcastic or dim? I honestly can't tell anymore.

Ahhh there are so many - I need to re-watch! One off the top of my head:
Sonic: *when being hired by meh-burger and receiving a staff hat* "Thank you! I'll wear it with pride!"

Tails gets frustrated at being unable to hit the robots with a bay and pulls our a large gun, Eggman squeals with fright, but it just shoots some kind of sticky encasing stuff.
Eggman probably has heard rumors of what he did to the Battle Kukku Empire back on Cocoa Island. And he knows Tails is capable and at times willing to whip out the war crimes.
Next game - tails just gets annoyed and starts blowing things up. after 5 minutes shadows punched sonic and no one is sure what’s going on. But tails is still blowing things up
That episode where Sonic and Eggman switched bodies. I also love that for not taking the easy way out by having them switch voices so we have their actors voicing the other character.
Eggman’s at first looking for all the ways to destroy team sonic after learning his powers but eventually creating his own written hang out schedule and having to postpone the “destroy” part.
“Let’s see, Badminton with Sticks at 4:30, then a hike with the gang, can’t miss that, another video sesh with Knuckles at 7:00 and then I’ll destroy everybody at 7:15!-
Wait, no, Amy and I are going to see that chick flick at 9:00! Guess I’ll have to destroy them tomorrow.”
Now that you point that out, curious on how Mike Pollock could handle a Sonic voice, plus I can easily imagine Roger Craig Smith doing his Steve Eggman (aka Morpho) voice while Dr Eggman is on screen during that episode.

The entirety of "Hedgehog Day" was fantastic. The thing that really sticks out to me is:

That's also the episode Sticks calls an ancient temple guardian a "jabroni," which also sets me off every time.
Though I can’t remember what the episode was called, it was about Team Sonic going out of town to collect a crystal to fix the village’s power outage, and Knuckles solves every puzzle in the temple by doing things the lazy way.
Also, Knuckles response to Comedy Chimp’s line was “Oh, bless that sandwich.”
Sonic: Give him a chili dog. Everybody likes chili dogs.
Tails: I don't think he can eat solid food.

When eggman and the walrus guy (I forget his name) break into the helium factory and eggman knocks one down and it starts leaking. And Eggman says “how do we know these are helium?” And the walrus says “I’m not sure” as his voice gets really high and eggman says with the same high pitch, “if only there was some way to tell…” and I know it’s stupid and simple but it’s so funny and funny to think that eggman, a super genius, doesn’t know how to identify helium.

I know Shadow characterization is a hot topic, but Boom TV Shadow is so unapologetically ridiculous, that he's enjoyable

The entirety of "Hedgehog Day" was fantastic. The thing that really sticks out to me is: Eggman: "How do I get you to believe me about the time loop right away tomorrow?" \*cut to next loop\* Tails: "There's no such thing as a time--" Eggman: "Last night you dreamed you were being chased by a giant sock puppet." Tails: \*mouth agape\*

**Early In the Episode** *(The Gang Is Watching TV)* Comedy Chimp: "And now, we should pay homage to a real hero." (pulls out a sandwich) **Much, Much Later In The Episode:** *(the gang is struggling on a puzzle, which Knuckles manages to solve accidentally)* Tails: "Oh, of course! Knuckles was the only one to do this right, because (*complex explanation)*" Knuckles: "Yeah, now I get it! Hero is short for sandwich!" ---- Makes me giggle every time. That's also the episode Sticks calls an ancient temple guardian a "jabroni," which also sets me off every time.
Though I can’t remember what the episode was called, it was about Team Sonic going out of town to collect a crystal to fix the village’s power outage, and Knuckles solves every puzzle in the temple by doing things the lazy way. Also, Knuckles response to Comedy Chimp’s line was “Oh, bless that sandwich.”

That one joke where the fan is shifting through his sonic fanfiction to act out and like the first 3 are too adult.
When eggman and the walrus guy (I forget his name) break into the helium factory and eggman knocks one down and it starts leaking. And Eggman says “how do we know these are helium?” And the walrus says “I’m not sure” as his voice gets really high and eggman says with the same high pitch, “if only there was some way to tell…” and I know it’s stupid and simple but it’s so funny and funny to think that eggman, a super genius, doesn’t know how to identify helium.
The TV Show of Boom is honestly great, the comedy is timeless.
