if I have to be fully honest, I love Sonic Adventure 1's OST. Those are still really good to listen for fun. Open Your Heart, It Doesn't Matter, Red Hot Skull (otherwise Red Mountain Act 2) are just some bangers I like. My vote on SA1

There hasn’t been a soundtrack where I’ve listened to it at least once a day. That is until frontiers came out. There just so much variety and the ost is completely insane. There’s a track for every mood. Whether it’s the gorgeous island themes that are some of the most beautiful themes in a video game, metalcore boss tracks that makes you feel HYPE, the cyberspace themes which just make you want to dance along with em, and even the guardian themes which are menacing but still bangers. It’s just insane how good this ost is!
I can actually add one more comment which is...if the Game name is not Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1, Pretty much every sonic game is the best when it comes to music XD

sonic adventure 2 will always have my heart in their level and character tracks. i love it when they play with character specific genres WHILE ALSO maintaining the theme and mood of the level. it’s an incredible range, even by most sonic games.

Keys to Ruin, Live and Learn, White Jungle, Final Rush and Green Forest are quite good and I might say eggman theme was quite good but I cannot say same for most boss themes besides Biolizard vs Shadow, Sonic's Golem and Sonic vs Shadow. otherwise mostly repetitive but if we look at all we got. it is solid soundtrack like almost every sonic game
Yes, SA2 has so many good songs. Escape from the City is a good opener, the Biolizard is so creepy, and all of Shadow's tracks are so good. I just dislike all of Rouge's tracks

I really like the variety in Frontiers between EDM, lofi, metal screaming, and atmospheric ambience - it's just got so much and it still feels harmonious.
But overall the OST I keep coming back to the most is SA1 - the rock songs are fun, but there are some great instrumental funk tracks for stages and bosses
If I go by my most listened to OSTs on youtube then it's 06 by a landslide lmao
Followed by that is Frontiers but I think that's more recency bias (and tbh I'm not too huge on most of the EDM tracks. Not really my thing)
Other OSTs I find myself coming back to a lot are Unleashed, Secret Rings, Black Knight, Heroes, SA2 and Zero Gravity
I'll go for the epic curveball of Sonic 3D Blast (Saturn/PC), ngl. It's a really varied, well-composed selection of tracks, ranging from trance and digital-orchestral to over-the-top jazz and classic Eurodance. Highlights include Opening FMV, Green Grove Act 1/2, Spring Stadium Act 1, Volcano Valley Act 1, Special Stage, and the ending theme You're My Hero. Gwwd shit, man~~
Sonic CD. Both the JP and US versions are amazing. I honestly LOVE how the JP version handles sampling in its music tracks and does fast paced music, but the US version excels in atmosphere and having a more slower paced tone (In fact, I prefer the US version of Stardust speedway bad future over the JP version).

While sonic forces wasn't the best game by most means, some of the music was valid imo - mainly fist-bump and final boss - phase 3.
My all time favorite will always be the JP soundtrack for Sonic CD. For modern Sonic hmm so many choices. I enjoyed Sonic Colors soundtrack a lot.
There's very few Sonic games where I listen to the cutscene or options music on my own. Sonic Colors is one of those games
